Media Relations Assistant
Continued with game day duties (see below). Additional tasks included: updating the teams website with post-
game stats, rewriting player biographies and keeping them up-to-date, working with Rogers Communications or
Sportsnet on game days to ensure they have the proper media information, worked with game day sponsors,
assisted with community events, and writing of game stories. Also assisted with the 2014 OHL Priority Selection by
aiding in media relations, filming videos for the website, and ensuring the scouts and coaches were kept up to
speed with draft information as it was happening.

Assisted both local and national media in the media tent, ensured that media kits were printed and stocked, game
time stats were printed and distributed, and assisted in media accreditation.
The Guelph Storm OHL Hockey, Guelph, ON 2012 - 2014
Game day Media Relations Intern. Duties included: recording online game statistics using the official League Stat
website, organizing player interviews with Rogers Communications or Sportsnet, updating official Twitter feed
during games, liaising with the Guelph Mercury Junior Reporter program (including dressing room tours and
player interviews) and other game operation duties as needed.
KW Oktoberfest, Kitchener, ON 2012- Present
Member of both the Public Relations and the 5K Fun Run committee. Marketing Coordinator for the 5K Fun Run.
