The teacher will write her pupils answers in two separate columns as they answer the following questions: - What can you say about the kittens? - How do they feel when they lost their mittens? How about when they found them? - How do they feel when they soiled their mittens? How about when they washed them? 2. The teacher will then proceed with the lecture through a short game. 4. Character traits and emotions in some popular stories, poems and songs will also be discussed.
3. Generalization 1. What is the difference between trait and emotion? 2. What are the different traits and emotions that we can perceive to a character? 3. Why is it important to identify character traits and emotions?
4. Application Game Charade/ Role play The class will be divided into 4 groups. Each group will pick 2 pieces of paper. Written on each piece is a character trait/emotion that the group will act out either by action or by words. All the other groups will guess what character trait is being portrayed. The group with the most number of correct answer will be declared winner.
5. Evaluation 1. Formative - Answer Exercise 1 on RYA, pp. 262-264 - See attached worksheet (if not in the book/worksheet kindly write at least a 5 item formative)

6. Assignment List at least 5 of your favorite song lines and write the trait or emotion it denotes.
