Message from His Excellency
the Ambassador of Sri Lanka
in Israel
It is my pleasure to issue this congratulatory message on the inauguration session and
launch of the Trade Business Forum from 25th to 28th June in the State of Israel mainly
to strengthen Bilateral, Commercial, Trade, Culture, and other relations between the two
Friendly Nations.
The Forum is organized by the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Israel with co-organizers Sri
Lanka Export Development Board in Sri Lanka, Ministry of External Affairs in Sri Lanka
with Israel Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce and LR Group in the State of Israel.
Main topics dealing with during the Forum will include Tourism, Hi Tec, Water, Energy,
Medical, Apparel, Employment, Agriculture, Green House, Cultivation, Dairy, Fish,
Flowers, Diamond, Gems, Jewellery, Rubber, Hospitals, Pharmaceuticals, Highways,
Construction, and other topics suggested by the Business Community based on their
requirements. This is a continuation of the initiatives taken by the Embassy of Sri Lanka
during the historical visit ever - by HE the President of Sri Lanka to the State of Israel
and meetings with the Hi End business community, Trade Mission to Sri Lanka organized
by the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Israel with the Israel Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce in
the State of Israel, Trade Mission to CHOGAM led by the Sri Lanka Ambassador in Israel
with active involvement of EDB, the Ministry of Trade and Commerce in Sri Lanka and
continuous interactions of Israel Sri Lanka Business Communities with public and private
sector participation in both Sri Lanka and Israel.
It is indeed hard work by the co-organizers and the Business Communities in both
countries aiming to achieve development and prosperity of both Friendly Nations
harnessing their talents, experiences, knowledge and resources for development and
prosperity. I wish Success, Development Prosperity and Peace for both Israel and Sri
Lanka to achieve the Aspirations of people and the Two Great Nations.
