The school was named after Latvian painter Janis Rozentals, whose
work is attributed to the symbolist movement. Janis Rozentals Riga Art
Highschool (Jana Rozentala Rigas Makslas vidusskola) offers a broad
4 - year secondary education course, where students are being taught
more than 25 subjects - among the subjects I studied was literature, mathe-
matics, english and german languages, art history, economics, academic drawing,
graphic design, video, sculpture, 3D modelling and many others.

IN GRAPHIC DESIGN, I WANTED TO
INCORPORATE BOTH VISUAL DESIGN
AND FINE ARTS METHODS IN MY WORK.
The work was inspired by the light art movement
and such contemporary artists as David
Spriggs,Nobuhiro Nakanishi and Angela Palmer
A 3D visualisation of the project ( MAYA software).
Depending on the location of light source,
it was possible to produce diferent visual efects.
The work was created as a collage in photoshop
in 8 layers, then printed on transparent flm using
a plotter and glued on organic glass plates. The
plates were fastened in a transpatent base from the
same material.

Efumo Software is a web development and web design compa-
ny. My internship for Efumo Design lasted 2 months, during
which I was assigned to do various graphic design tasks using
Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. One of the most
interesting and beneficial tasks was creating a compact
brandbook and developing a visual identity based on Efumo
Software new logo.

intended to continue and put an emphasis on the logo
in the profile picture.

A COVER ILLUSTRATION PROPOSA FOR A LATVIAN FAIRYTALE BOOK. THE CHARACTERS
WERE PAINTED IN WATERCOLOR AND THEN COMBINED INTO A UNIFIED COMPOSITION
USING ADOBE PHOTOSHOP.
