1) Title of the Research: - . REACH AND AVAILABILITY OF COCA COLA
AND ITS PRODUCTS AT MODERN TRADE

2) Project Summary: - Availability of many substitute product as well as decrease
in the proper distribution channel decreases the demand for coca cola and its
products in modern trade centers. Considering this as the main problem,
finding out a better solution to increase the sales ratio of coca cola and its
products in Cochin region


3) Objectives of the Study :

Brands availability of Coca-cola and its brands vis--vis Pepsi and its
brands.
Market comparison of all the available brands of the soft drinks in the
market.
Comparing the effectiveness of present distribution channel which
help to know the relation in demand and supply condition.
To study the service frequency and brand preference of retailers
survey towards Coca cola and its substitutes.

Source of data: - Information from modern trades.

5) Work Plan :- First, i would like to understand the strategies which followed in
the field of sales and distribution through direct market survey in cochin
and understanding both the positive and negative strategies which result in
their success as well as their failure and finally suggesting certain ideas to
the organization to overcome the problems.

water, energy drinks, tea & coffee.
World over, they offer over 3300 beverages in our portfolio. The Coca-Cola
Company announced an investment of USD 5 Billion in India till the year
2020.

Their beverages reach their ultimate consumers through their customers: the
grocers, small retailers, hypermarkets, restaurants, convenience stores and
millions of other businesses that are the final points of distribution in the
Coca-Cola system. What truly defines the Coca-Cola system, and indeed
what makes it unique among businesses, is their ability to create value for
their customers and consumers.
