Strawberries: We are selling
these summertme beautes
like there is no tomorrow!
Everyone wants to get in on
the great taste and good
pricing of the best weeks of
the year for strawberries.
Stem berries are in stock.
Limes: Afer all the recent
noise in the system and issues
with limes, all that is in the
past.
Peaches, Nectarines, Red
and Black Plums, Pluots &
Apricots: Peak season for
fresh stone fruits from
California. Come and get the
juiciest, sweetest peaches of
the season at great prices!
Green Leaf, Red Leaf &
Boston Letuce: Good
harvest weather in the west
is boding well for these leafy
items. (See watch for Iceberg
due to excess demand)
Mangos: If you havent
tried this years mango crop,
you are missing something
really good.
Watermelons: Great
prices on red seedless
watermelons!
Artchokes: All sizes
available with good prices
and outstanding quality!
Asparagus: California is
fnished; Washington is
fnished but both Peru and
Mexico are sending standard
WATCH
Raspberries: We are in a
pro-rated situaton this week
for raspberries. Driscolls are
very tght and the prices are
up.
Heirloom Tomatoes: We
have no local heirlooms and
the producton has been
waning in Canada. Orders are
being pro-rated, keeping our
supply very unpredictable.
Lemons: The hot topic this
week is that lemons contnue
to rise. Choice lemons are
high but Sunburst are even
higher. Summer heat brings
sizzling market conditons.
Honeydews: On the
upswing since Texas is
fnished, Mexico is winding
down. Arizona and California
are working it but the prices
are not great yet.
Iceberg Letuce: Higher
demand driving up prices.
Brussels Sprouts: Spiked up
since domestc producton is
not available yet. Everything
is coming from Mexico.
Bushel beans: Price is up
out of Morehead City, NC.,
but the quality is really good.
Red Peppers: Somewhat
actve but nothing too drastc.
problems with availability.
KEEP IN MIND
Blueberries: Lots of gorgeous,
large, frm berries from multple
sources in Georgia, North Carolina
and New Jersey are driving prices
down nicely.
Cherries: Besides Virginia
cherries, we also have nice stock
from Washington State. Rainiers
available with 1-2 days notce.
Avocados: Beautful, pristne
fruit out of California makes some
of the best guacamole , wraps,
sushihey use this super-food in
everything!
Cantaloupes: These melons
have backed of a bit in price this
week from western shippers.
Cilantro, Leeks & Green
Onions: Nice fresh quality and
steady prices.
Broccoli & Broccoli Crowns:
Same price levels as last week and
good availability.

Cherries & Peaches: Virginias Crown Orchards are
sending an abundance of local cherries and peaches.
Cabbage: Local cabbage is arriving from Marylands
Eastern Shore and New Jersey at good prices.
Asian Kale, Mixed Beets, & Local Rainbow Chard are
coming from our friends
at Spring Valley Farms in
West Virginia.
Blueberries: These
delicious berries are now
coming in from NC.
