Memory Verse Cards

Victory, P rayer & P urity

Use these cards to memorize scriptures.
Add these cards to your Scripture Memory System box, or
Punch a hole in the top corner of the cards and attach them together with a ring. (See a photo
here.)
7 Memory Tips:
1. Early ~ begin early in the day
2. Handy ~ keep your cards on hand or near you and review them through
the day
3. Reference ~ first state the topic (Victory/ Prayer/ Purity), then the reference
(Bible book, chapter and verse). Then quote the scripture & repeat the
reference. (Clue words are in red.)
4. Perfectly ~ learn the words exactly. Gods word is the authority.
5. Daily ~ review all memorized verses 1x a day for 6 days a week
6. Test ~ write them out at the end of the week or recite them to a friend
7. Diligently ~ repeat 1x for 6 days for 6 weeks = 36 times

weapons of our warfare

For the weapons of our warfare are
not fleshly, but mighty through God

against the knowledge of God, and
bringing into captivity every thought
into the obedience of Christ;

Victory
be strong
Ephesians 6:10 & 11
Finally, my brothers, be strong in
the Lord and in the power of His
might.

sinners; and purify your hearts,
double-minded ones.

Victory
according to the flesh
Romans 8:5 &6

Romans 6:12 & 13
Therefore do not let sin reign in your
mortal body, that you should obey it
in its lusts.

one alive from the dead, and your
members as instruments of
righteousness to God.

Who I am in Christ 1
Nadene of http://practicalpages.wordpress.com 03/2013

My Identity in Christ

1 I am a child of God
J ohn 1:12 But as many as received Him, He
gave to them authority to become the children
of God, to those who believe on His name,
Romans 8:16 The Spirit Himself bears witness
with our spirit that we are the children of God.
1J ohn 3:1-3 Behold what manner of love the
Father has given us, that we should be called
children of God. Therefore the world does not
know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved,
now we are children of God, and it has not yet
been revealed what we shall be. But we know
that when He shall be revealed, we shall be like
Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And
everyone who has this hope on him purifies
himself, even as that One is pure.

2 I am an heir with all
who are in Christ
Galatians 3:26-29 For you are all sons of God
through faith in Christ J esus.
For as many as were baptized into Christ, you
put on Christ. There cannot be J ew nor Greek,
there is neither bond nor free, there is no male
nor female; for you are all one in Christ J esus.
And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's
seed and heirs according to the promise.
3 I can call the Lord
Abba Father
Galatians 4:6-7 And because you are sons, God
has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your
hearts, crying, Abba, Father. So that you are no
longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, also an
heir of God through Christ.
4 I am His people, a
chosen generation, a
royal priesthood
1Peter 2:9-10 But you are a chosen generation, a
royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for
possession, so that you might speak of the
praises of Him who has called you out of
darkness into His marvellous light; you who then
were not a people, but now the people of God,

Who I am in Christ ~

5 I am the salt of the
earth
Matthew 5:13 You are the salt of the earth, but
if the salt loses its savor, with what shall it be
salted? It is no longer good for anything, but to
be thrown out and to be trodden underfoot by
men.
6 I am the light of the
world
Matthew 5:14 You are the light of the world. A
city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
7 I am a branch of the
true vine, a channel of
His Life
J ohn 15:1 I am the True Vine, and My Father
is the Vinedresser.
J ohn 15:5 I am the Vine, you are the
branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him,
the same brings forth much fruit; for without
Me you can do nothing.
8 I have been appointed
to bear fruit
J ohn 15:16 You have not chosen Me, but I
have chosen you and ordained you that you
should go and bring forth fruit, and that your
fruit should remain; that whatever you shall
ask of the Father in My name, He may give it
to you.
9 I am Christs personal
witness
J ohn 15:16 You have not chosen Me, but I
have chosen you and ordained you that you
should go and bring forth fruit, and that your
fruit should remain; that whatever you shall
ask of the Father in My name, He may give it
to you.
10 I am Gods temple
1Corinthians 3:16 Do you not know that you
are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God
dwells in you?
11 I am a member of
Gods temple
1Corinthians 12:27 And you are the body of
Christ, and members in part.

Who I am in Christ 3

12 I am a minister of
reconciliation for God
2Corinthians 5:17 So that if anyone is in
Christ, that one is a new creature; old things
have passed away; behold, all things have
become new.
2Co 5:18 And all things are of God, who has
reconciled us to Himself through J esus Christ,
and has given to us the ministry of
reconciliation;
13 I am Gods co-worker
1Corinthians 3:9 For of God we are fellow-
workers, a field of God, and you are a building

2Corinthians 6:1 But working together, we also
call on you not to receive the grace of God in
vain.
14 I am a saint
Ephesians 1:1 Paul, an apostle of J esus Christ
by the will of God, to the saints who are in
Ephesus, and faithful in Christ J esus.
15 I have been raised up
and seated with Christ
Ephesians 2:6 and has raised us up together
and made us sit together in the heavenlies in
Christ J esus,
16 I am Gods
workmanship
Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship,
created in Christ J esus to good works, which
God has before ordained that we should walk
in them.
17 I am a citizen of
heaven
Ephesians 2:6 and has raised us up together
and made us sit together in the heavenlies in
Christ J esus,
In Christ I am accepted

18 I am Christs friend
J ohn 15:15 No longer do I call you servants,
for the servant does not know what his master
does. But I have called you friends, for all
things that I have heard from My Father I
have made known to you.
19 I have been justified
Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith,
we have peace with God through our Lord
J esus Christ.

20 I am joined to the Lord
& am one spirit with
Him
1Corinthians 6:17 But he being joined to the
Lord is one spirit.
21 I have been bought
with a price; I belong
to God
1Corinthians 6:20 for you are bought with a
price. Therefore glorify God in your body and
in your spirit, which are God's.
22 I have been made
righteous
2Corinthians 5:21 For He has made Him who
knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might
become the righteousness of God in Him.
23 I have been adopted as
Gods child
Ephesians 1:5 having predestined us to the
adoption of children by J esus Christ to Himself,
according to the good pleasure of His will,
24 I have direct access to
God through the Holy
Spirit
Ephesians 2:19 Now therefore you are no
longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow
citizens with the saints, and of the household
of God,
25 I am of Gods
household
Ephesians 2:19 Now therefore you are no
longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow
citizens with the saints, and of the household
of God,
26 I am a fellow citizen
with the rest of the
saints
Ephesians 2:19 Now therefore you are no
longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow
citizens with the saints, and of the household
of God,
27 I may approach God
with boldness and
confidence
Ephesians 3:12 in whom we have boldness and
access with confidence through His faith.
28 I have been redeemed
and forgiven of all my
sins
Colossians 1:14 in whom we have redemption
through His blood, the remission of sins.
29 I am complete in
Christ
Colossians 2:10 And you are complete in Him,
who is the Head of all principality and power,

Who I am in Christ 5

In Christ I am secure

30 I am assured that all
things work together
for good
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things
work together for good to those who love God,
to those who are called according to His
purpose.
31 I cannot be separated
from the love of God
Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the
love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or
persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril,
or sword?
32 I am free forever from
condemnation
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no
condemnation to those who are in Christ J esus,
who walk not according to the flesh but
according to the Spirit.
33 I am free from any
condemning charges
against me
Romans 8:33 Who shall lay anything to the
charge of God's elect? It is God who justifies.
34 I have been
established, anointed,
and sealed by God
2Corinthians 1:21-22 But He confirming us and
anointing us with you in Christ is God. And
He has sealed us and having given the earnest
of the Spirit in our hearts.
35 I have been given the
Holy Spirit as a pledge
guaranteeing my
inheritance to come
Ephesians 1:13-14 in whom also you, hearing
the Word of Truth, the gospel of our salvation,
in whom also believing, you were sealed with
the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the earnest
of our inheritance, to the redemption of the
purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
36 I have been delivered
from the domain of
darkness and
transferred to the
kingdom of Christ
Colossians 1:13 For He has delivered us from
the power of darkness and has translated us
into the kingdom of His dear Son
37 I am hidden with
Christ in God
Colossians 3:3 For you died, and your life has
been hidden with Christ in God.

38 I am confident that the
good work that God
began in me will be
perfected
Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very
thing, that He who has begun a good work in
you will perform it until the day of J esus
Christ
39 I can do all things
through Him who
strengthens me
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through
Christ who strengthens me.
40 I have not been given
a spirit of fear, but of
power, love and a
sound mind
2Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us the
spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of
a sound mind.
41 I can find grace and
mercy in time of need
Hebrews 4:16 Therefore let us come boldly to
the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy
and find grace to help in time of need.
42 I am born of God, and
the evil one cannot
touch me
1J ohn 5:18 We know that everyone who has
been born of God does not continue to sin, but
the one born of God guards himself, and the
evil one does not touch him.

Colossians 3:10- 21

Gods great goal for me as His
child is that I become like Him
Colossians 3:10 and having put on the
new, having been renewed in knowledge
according to the image of Him who
created him,
My identity is no longer in
racial, religious, cultural or
social ties
Colossians 3:11 where there is neither
Greek nor J ew, circumcision and
uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, slave
or freeman, but Christ is all things in
all.
Once I know who I am in
Christ, God focuses on my
character
Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as the elect of
God, holy and beloved, put on tender
feelings of mercy, kindness, humbleness
of mind, meekness, long-suffering,
My character is developed in
my relationships with others
Colossians 3:13 forbearing one another
and forgiving yourselves, if anyone has
a complaint against any. As Christ
forgave you, so also you do.
Love is the highest level of
character development
Colossians 3:14 And above all these
things put on love, which is the bond of
perfectness.
Having Christ living in me is
the only way I can become like
Him
Colossians 3:15-17 And let the peace of
God rule in your hearts, to which you
also are called in one body, and be
thankful.
Let the Word of Christ dwell in you
richly in all wisdom, teaching and
admonishing one another in psalms and
hymns and spiritual songs, singing with
grace in your hearts to the Lord.
And everything, whatever you do in
word or deed, do all in the name of the
Lord J esus, giving thanks to God and the
Father by Him.

Who I am in Christ 8

My home and family is where
God works on me and my
character
Colossians 3:18-22
Wives, be subject to your own husbands,
as is becoming in the Lord.
Husbands, love your wives, and do not
be bitter against them.
Children, obey your parents in all things,
for this is well-pleasing to the Lord.
Fathers, do not provoke your children,
lest they be discouraged.
Slaves, obey your masters according to
the flesh in all things; not with eye-
service, as men-pleasers, but in
singleness of heart, fearing God.

they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise
lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority
upon them.
10:43 But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be
great among you, shall be your minister:
10:44 And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant

10:45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto,
but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

John 10:711
Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I
am the door of the sheep.
10:8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but
the sheep did not hear them.
10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved,
and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to
destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might
have it more abundantly.
10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd gives his life
for the sheep.

John 10:12-16
10:12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own
the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep,
and flees: and the wolf catches them, and scatters the sheep.
10:13 The hireling flees, because he is an hireling, and cares not
for the sheep.
10:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am
known of mine.
10:15 As the Father knows me, even so know I the Father: and I
lay down my life for the sheep.
10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them
also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall
be one fold, and one shepherd.

2Corinthians 5:17 So that if anyone is in
Christ, that one is a new creature; old things
have passed away; behold, all things have
become new.
2Co 5:18 And all things are of God, who has
reconciled us to Himself through J esus Christ,
and has given to us the ministry of
reconciliation;
13 I am Gods co-worker
1Corinthians 3:9 For of God we are fellow-
workers, a field of God, and you are a building
of God.
2Corinthians 6:1 But working together, we also
call on you not to receive the grace of God in
vain.
14 I am a saint
Ephesians 1:1 Paul, an apostle of J esus Christ
by the will of God, to the saints who are in
Ephesus, and faithful in Christ J esus.
15 I have been raised up
and seated with Christ
Ephesians 2:6 and has raised us up together
and made us sit together in the heavenlies in
Christ J esus,
16 I am Gods
workmanship
Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship,
created in Christ J esus to good works, which
God has before ordained that we should walk
in them.
17 I am a citizen of
heaven
Ephesians 2:6 and has raised us up together
and made us sit together in the heavenlies in
Christ J esus,
In Christ I am accepted

18 I am Christs friend
J ohn 15:15 No longer do I call you servants,
for the servant does not know what his master
does. But I have called you friends, for all
things that I have heard from My Father I
have made known to you.
19 I have been justified
Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith,
we have peace with God through our Lord
J esus Christ.

20 I am joined to the Lord
& am one spirit with
Him
1Corinthians 6:17 But he being joined to the
Lord is one spirit.
21 I have been bought
with a price; I belong
to God
1Corinthians 6:20 for you are bought with a
price. Therefore glorify God in your body and
in your spirit, which are God's.
22 I have been made
righteous
2Corinthians 5:21 For He has made Him who
knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might
become the righteousness of God in Him.
23 I have been adopted as
Gods child
Ephesians 1:5 having predestined us to the
adoption of children by J esus Christ to Himself,
according to the good pleasure of His will,
24 I have direct access to
God through the Holy
Spirit
Ephesians 2:19 Now therefore you are no
longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow
citizens with the saints, and of the household
of God,
25 I am of Gods
household
Ephesians 2:19 Now therefore you are no
longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow
citizens with the saints, and of the household
of God,
26 I am a fellow citizen
with the rest of the
saints
Ephesians 2:19 Now therefore you are no
longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow
citizens with the saints, and of the household
of God,
27 I may approach God
with boldness and
confidence
Ephesians 3:12 in whom we have boldness and
access with confidence through His faith.
28 I have been redeemed
and forgiven of all my
sins
Colossians 1:14 in whom we have redemption
through His blood, the remission of sins.
29 I am complete in
Christ
Colossians 2:10 And you are complete in Him,
who is the Head of all principality and power,

Who I am in Christ 5

In Christ I am secure

30 I am assured that all
things work together
for good
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things
work together for good to those who love God,
to those who are called according to His
purpose.
31 I cannot be separated
from the love of God
Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the
love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or
persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril,
or sword?
32 I am free forever from
condemnation
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no
condemnation to those who are in Christ J esus,
who walk not according to the flesh but
according to the Spirit.
33 I am free from any
condemning charges
against me
Romans 8:33 Who shall lay anything to the
charge of God's elect? It is God who justifies.
34 I have been
established, anointed,
and sealed by God
2Corinthians 1:21-22 But He confirming us and
anointing us with you in Christ is God. And
He has sealed us and having given the earnest
of the Spirit in our hearts.
35 I have been given the
Holy Spirit as a pledge
guaranteeing my
inheritance to come
Ephesians 1:13-14 in whom also you, hearing
the Word of Truth, the gospel of our salvation,
in whom also believing, you were sealed with
the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the earnest
of our inheritance, to the redemption of the
purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
36 I have been delivered
from the domain of
darkness and
transferred to the
kingdom of Christ
Colossians 1:13 For He has delivered us from
the power of darkness and has translated us
into the kingdom of His dear Son
37 I am hidden with
Christ in God
Colossians 3:3 For you died, and your life has
been hidden with Christ in God.

38 I am confident that the
good work that God
began in me will be
perfected
Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very
thing, that He who has begun a good work in
you will perform it until the day of J esus
Christ
39 I can do all things
through Him who
strengthens me
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through
Christ who strengthens me.
40 I have not been given
a spirit of fear, but of
power, love and a
sound mind
2Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us the
spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of
a sound mind.
41 I can find grace and
mercy in time of need
Hebrews 4:16 Therefore let us come boldly to
the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy
and find grace to help in time of need.
42 I am born of God, and
the evil one cannot
touch me
1J ohn 5:18 We know that everyone who has
been born of God does not continue to sin, but
the one born of God guards himself, and the
evil one does not touch him.

Colossians 3:10- 21

Gods great goal for me as His
child is that I become like Him
Colossians 3:10 and having put on the
new, having been renewed in knowledge
according to the image of Him who
created him,
My identity is no longer in
racial, religious, cultural or
social ties
Colossians 3:11 where there is neither
Greek nor J ew, circumcision and
uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, slave
or freeman, but Christ is all things in
all.
Once I know who I am in
Christ, God focuses on my
character
Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as the elect of
God, holy and beloved, put on tender
feelings of mercy, kindness, humbleness
of mind, meekness, long-suffering,
My character is developed in
my relationships with others
Colossians 3:13 forbearing one another
and forgiving yourselves, if anyone has
a complaint against any. As Christ
forgave you, so also you do.
Love is the highest level of
character development
Colossians 3:14 And above all these
things put on love, which is the bond of
perfectness.
Having Christ living in me is
the only way I can become like
Him
Colossians 3:15-17 And let the peace of
God rule in your hearts, to which you
also are called in one body, and be
thankful.
Let the Word of Christ dwell in you
richly in all wisdom, teaching and
admonishing one another in psalms and
hymns and spiritual songs, singing with
grace in your hearts to the Lord.
And everything, whatever you do in
word or deed, do all in the name of the
Lord J esus, giving thanks to God and the
Father by Him.

My home and family is where
God works on me and my
character
Colossians 3:18-22
Wives, be subject to your own husbands,
as is becoming in the Lord.
Husbands, love your wives, and do not
be bitter against them.
Children, obey your parents in all things,
for this is well-pleasing to the Lord.
Fathers, do not provoke your children,
lest they be discouraged.
Slaves, obey your masters according to
the flesh in all things; not with eye-
service, as men-pleasers, but in
singleness of heart, fearing God.
