SHORT TERM TENDER NOTICE

Letter No. 2947 / SA-5 / 143 Dated:- 13-7-2009

On behalf of Chairman U.P. Jal Nigam, undersigned invites tenders from contractors registered
with U.P. Jal Nigam in requisite class for the appropriate category having requisite experience and
financial capabilities for the following works for the execution of following works under existing Narora
town water supply scheme, Distt. Bulandshahr (U.P.).
Last date of sale of tenders – 06.08.2009
Date of inviting tenders – 07.08.2009
Date of opening of tenders - 11.08.2009

Terms & Conditions:-

1. The tenders are open to the contractors registered with U.P. Jal Nigam in appropriate class for
appropriate category.
2. Intending applicants may obtain tender documents from 01-08-2009 to 06-08-2009 by calling in
person or writting to the following offices by submitting Rs. 3000.00 + 12.5 % trade tax or as
applicable non refundable fees by cash / demand draft issued by any Nationalized/Schedule bank
drawn in favor of Executive Engineer C.D U.P. Jal Nigam, Bulandshahr. The requisite
eligibility/qualification criteria etc. may be seen in any of the following offices or may visit the site
www.upjn.org.
(i) Executive Engineer, Construction Division, U.P. Jal Nigam Bulandshahr
(ii) Superintending Engineer, Ist Circle, U.P. Jal Nigam, Meerut.
(iii) Chief Engineer (Ghaziabad Zone),U.P.Jal Nigam ,Sector-1.Raj Nagar ,Ghaziabad
(iv) Office of the District Magistrate, Bulandshahr.
3. In case the tender documents are desired by post, U.P. Jal Nigam will promptly dispatch the
documents by speed post/registered mail on remittance of Rs. 300.00 + Service Tax (If applicable)
as postal charges by demand draft in favor of “Executive Engineer, Construction Divison, U.P. Jal
Nigam, Bulandshahr but under no circumstances, the deptt. will be held responsible for late
delivery or loss of the documents so mailed.

4. The tenders with requisite earnest money must be received in sealed envelopes in any of the
offices mentioned in para-2 above latest 3.00 pm on 07.08.2009. The tenders shall be opened on
11.08.2009 at 3.30 pm. in the office of the District Magistrate, Bulandshahr in presence of
intending applicants or their authorized representatives.
5. The U.P. Jal Nigam reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning
any reason.
