2. 1969 Corvette L88, sold for $2,860,000
3. 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL, sold for $2,090,000
4. 1998 Ferrari F300, sold for $1,870,000
5. 1963 Shelby Cooper Monaco Cobra, sold for $1,650,000


The Corvette L88 Coupe is a sports car produced by the Chevrolet division of General Motors for a
limited period of time of three years, between 1967 and 1969.

It has a motor of 7.0 l, big block engine V8.
General Motors initially stated the car had 430 horsepower, but it actually had 560 horsepower.
216 Corvettes were built from 1967 to 1969, out of which 20 were convertibles and 196 coupes.
It had no extra options available such as fan, heater or radio.
Most Corvettes were produced for racing.
Corvettes with automatic transmission were used for drag racing, while ones with manual
transmission were used for road racing.
The price for which the 67 red/red model was sold is the highest in history.



The Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing was officially launched in 1954 in New York.

This particular monopost was reconditioned by Ferrari before entering the auction market.
It was driven by the famous seven-time World Champion Michael Schumacher.

The 1963 Shelby Cooper Monaco King Cobra was designed for the racing season of 1963.
There are only 2 copies of this model in the world
Initially, the Cobra was a road racing car which achieved great success in the beginning of the
60s.
Carroll Shelby was inspired by this success and in 1963 he, with the help of Cooper, designed
and produced these 2 copies of the King Cobra, only for sport-racing purposes.
It had a Ford engine which was quite heavy and voluminous, hence the producers had to create
a better version for the Monaco of the Shelby.
