Fund raising Campaign
As promised in our Memo issued on 22nd May, here is our fund raising plan to help our colleagues
from the Balkans region to recover from the damage they suffered.

GOOD NEWS :
The levels of the rivers have gone down and the people can now start to work on a recovery phase.
The local Tax authority has confirmed that there will be no income tax on the money donated to
local employees in order to repair the damages caused by the floods.
HOW CAN I DONATE?
Where legally possible, there are two possibilities:
make a direct wire transfer on the bank account of Carmeuse in Doboj

Ask your local HR to withdraw the amount that you decide from your salary. They will proceed
with payroll deduction.
Your local HR team will soon communicate about the modality applicable to your country. Please
note that due to the urgency of the situation, we will have to receive your donations by June 10,
2014 at the latest.
WHO DO I HELP?
Your donation will be directly allocated to our colleagues who have suffered losses during the
floods.
For sake of transparency and to make sure that the financial support reaches the correct final
destinators, the allocation of collected money will be organized by a local committee: Ana Veskovic
(HR manager), Edina Hadzikadunic (Financial manager), Nada Milicevic (Purchasing manager), Rade
Danilovic (Union representative), and reviewed by Katalin Peterne Marosy (Country Coordinator).
As previously announced, Carmeuse will at least match the contribution that you make. This amount
will be allocated to help our employees and, if donations exceed expectations, to the local
communities affected by the floods.

HOW WILL I BE INFORMED OF WHAT HAPPENED WITH MY MONEY?
We will make a communication on how the funds have been used and how your contribution did
make a difference.
