1. Post Title: Environmental/ EHS Officer
A Bachelors Degree in Environment or Safety Management, or related discipline
2-4 years of experience
Duty station: Addis Ababa and project sites.
PRIMERY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Provide EHS support, coaching and training at all levels including promoting Companys commitment to
safety culture for all workers
Support the implementation and achievement of EHS objectives and performance measures during project
operational activities
Participate in risk management and EHS activities including risk assessments, audits, EHS Meetings and
onsite work activities
Technical proficiency in understanding and communicating regulations, risk management and risk
assessment skills
Continuously monitor and improve EHS programs
Ensure compliance with local, federal and corporate EHS regulations
Development, implementation and ongoing administration of safety training
Prepare, maintain and update environmental and safety policies and procedures manuals
Ability to identify analysis and solve problems, work in a team environment.
Good oral and written communication skills.
2. Post Title: Executive Secretary
A degree or diploma in English, business, IT, languages, information science, administration or management.
4-5 years of experience
PRIMERY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Provide full office support to a key team within the company, and ad-hoc support to his team
Assist with complex diary management taking into account the commitments and requirements of the line
manager to ensure time is used effectively
Co-ordinate and arrange internal and external meetings including travel, venue, refreshments and overnight
accommodation
Answer/screen phone calls and deal with all correspondence
Keep reliable filing and record systems to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of information and
correspondence, dealing with client and candidate activity
Use Microsoft Office Suite to produce presentations and reports
Deal with HR, and provide support to new employees in the recruitment process
Perform ad-hoc project work and take on other responsibilities when required answering telephone calls
maintaining diaries arranging appointments taking messages
liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
Preparing letters, presentations and reports.
Deals with inquires and answer them;
Handles confidential files;
Carries out other related duties as assigned to her superiors.

Purpose of Role
The Quality Assurance Lab Analyst ensures that incoming raw materials, work in processes and
manufactured products meet company quality specifications.
The role also extends to checking and testing materials and other parts delivered by outside suppliers.
The work involves working very closely with production personnel carrying out scheduled and random
checks on product quality during the production process and also final tests prior to products being
dispatched to the customer.
They will also be involved with conducting investigations into products that require improvement as
specified by Company quality standards. It is important that this role should be able to identify where in the
production processes problems or faults could have arisen and proposes corrective and preventive actions.
Top 3-5 Accountabilities

Perform routine as well as non-routine Analytical and Microbiological analysis of raw materials,
intermediate and finished products along with packaging components as per established work instructions
and SOPs;
Maintains a comprehensive understanding of all products produced by the facility as well as the raw and
packaging materials and operations required in the manufacturing process including quality specifications
and standards;
Record and compile test results, and prepare graphs, charts, and reports.
Calibrate and clean equipment to ensure results are correct, work area is clean and organized.

Qualifications and Experience Required
Qualifications: University degree in Applied Chemistry, Applied Biology or Food science.
Experience Required: Minimum 4 years in Beverage, Food or Chemical industry most preferably in
quality assurance/ control laboratory.
Must have computer skills to record inspection data and create reports for the quality assurance team.
Confident in using Microsoft Office e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
Fluency in Amharic & excellent command of written and spoken English
Must be able to work in any shift and weekends when required.

About AGP-LGP:
CNFA implements the five year USAID-funded Agriculture Growth Program-Livestock Market Development project (AGP-LMD).
Across selected woredas in Tigray, Oromia, Amhara, and SNNPR, AGP-LMD will:
1) foster growth and competitiveness of meat, live animal, dairy and hides, skins, and leather value chains;
2) ensure an enabling environment to support the growth and competitiveness of these livestock value chains; and
3) address the needs of the chronically vulnerable through nutrition-based interventions and linkages with other USAID-funded programs
in Ethiopia.
Working under direct supervision of the Deputy Chief of Party, the NRM and Environmental Advisor is responsible for ensuring
environmental compliance of program activities.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The main duties of the NRM and Environmental Advisor are to:
Develop the Environmental Review Reports (ERR) and Environmental Mitigation and Monitoring Plan (EMMP) for by the
project financed activities in accordance with USAID and CNFA guidelines.
Implement and if required regularly update the Pesticide Evaluation Report and Safer Use Action Plan (PERSUAP) for
Livestock in Ethiopia.
In conjunction with the Deputy Chief of Party, design project activities that mitigate the negative effects of climate change.
Lead the monitoring and evaluation team in assessing the environmental impact of project activities.
Provide monthly and quarterly updates to Deputy Chief of Party on the environmental implications of project activities.
Ensure projects activities are in compliance with USAID and CNFAs environmental regulations (a.o. PERSUAP).
Job Requirements
Masters degree in relevant field is required.
Minimum of 5 years working in natural resource management on donor funded projects.
Demonstrated ability advising on the environmental implications of development activities.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proven knowledge of USAID regulations regarding environmental monitoring and mitigation.
Strong communication skills.
Fluency in English is required.
Location: Addis Ababa, with possible trips to project sites in the regions of Oromiya, SNNPR, Amhara and Tigray
