Exercise: Use Designer Studio to Create and Process a Case

Scenario
Before we can begin to implement a solution, we need to understand how users create, process,
and resolve cases on Pega 7. Understanding how users perform their assignments helps us to
determine how to implement an application, and create, modify, and test its elements.
Role: System Architect
User Name: SAE1Architect
Password: password
Approach
Log in using the user name and password provided and then open the Designer Studio.
Launch the Case Manager Portal
Create a new General Task case.
Procedure
Follow the steps below:
1. Launch the exercise system, if it is not running already.
2. On the Login screen, enter the user name and password to login the system.
3. Use the Launch menu to locate the portal and open it.
4. Use the create menu and run the general task case.
