I started my career in emergency medicine when I became a

Combat Medic (91W) in 2002 and obtained my EMT-B. I
obtained both state and national registration as a EMT-P in
2005 and have since worked in both traditional and remote
location EMS since. I am an avid outdoorsmen which I believe
drives my desire to explore other regions/cultures and
contributes to my ability to stay calm, think quickly and then
adapt and overcome any situation I am placed in. I have
worked offshore providing medical care on oil rigs in the Gulf
of Mexico for almost two years, often staying up to 200 miles
from land in confined living quarters for up to 2 months at a
time. I believe that, although I will have much to learn and
adapt to, I will make a significant contribution to any team I
am placed with and look forward to a new work environment.
