You're about to learn a technique for jamming strong new beliefs into yourself, in

moments, in a way that makes the beliefs feel as real and undeniable as the fact
that you have a body. I call this technique the PowerPress BeliefChanger.
The PowerPress BeliefChanger is simple and elegant, so there's not going to be a
big introduction. As you know, conventional self-change and belief-change
techniques proceed from relaxation-- the idea is that you relax the body, which
relaxes the mind, which enables you to slide in new thoughts into your now
relaxed mind.
The PowerPress BeliefChanger operates on a different set of principles-- that
beliefs are ideas with feelings attached, that stored beliefs are physical sensations,
and that to replace a stored belief with a new, better belief, you need a physical
sensation.
Just to be clear, after you use the PowerPress BeliefChanger, you should expect its
effects to last for a period of at least a few hours to a few days. If you use it very
well, it may last longer. And here's the interesting thing: the Crucible takes only
needs to take about thirty seconds, and it goes faster every time you use it... so in
exchange for doing something for a few seconds, your way of experiencing the
world can radically shift for hours or days or weeks.
I suggest doing it a couple of times of day. Do it every spare moment. Let yourself
rewire your system. Do it when you wake up, so you can have the day you want to
have. Because it only takes you thirty seconds, and because these thirty seconds
you are giving yourself can help you get the life you want.
Now let's start.
We'll begin with the simplest version.

1
Figure out what you want to believe, and put it in a form like, I am
X, or I can X, or I love X. For example, a belief might be
something like, I am sexy, or I learn math easily, or I can attract
people easily, or I love getting things done.
2
On a scale of 1 to 10, where 10 is high, how true does the belief
feel? Don't evaluate it logically, or in terms of how true you think the
belief is in terms of being an accurate statement about the world...
just get a sense of how true the belief feels to you, emotionally. Give
the strength of that feeling a number, from 1 to 10.
3
Take a deep breath and hold it. Now squeeze every muscle you can
find in your body, hard. Squeeze your eyes shut, squeeze your lips
shut, tense your shoulders, squeeze your fists and toes, squeeze
your pelvis and knees and gut. Squeeze your tongue against your
mouth. Squeeze and tighten every muscle you can find, as you, in
your mind, shout your new belief statement.
4
Now imagine that you are looking at yourself, and repeat your belief
statement in the second-person: You are X, You can X, You love
X, etc.
5
Finally imagine that you are part of a large crowd of people, and you
are sharing a sentiment with the other members of the crowd.
Repeat your belief statement in the third-person, using your name:
Sam is X, Sam can X, Sam loves X.
6
Now relax yourself, breathe, and assess on a scale of 1-10 how
strongly you feel your new belief is true.
7
Now repeat the above sequence three or four more times, as
quickly as possible. The intensity of your belief should increase
each time you do it. Having chosen a new belief, you should
probably spend the thirty seconds you need to do this exercise each
day, or every other day, so that over time the belief becomes
completely permanent.
STOP NOW AND USE THE
TECHNIQUE, BECAUSE
"THINKING ABOUT IT" WILL
TEACH YOU NOTHING
Before you go any further, select another belief you want to build within yourself,
and run this belief builder on that belief also. You might even want to ask yourself,
What other belief would I like to have, that would reinforce the first belief, or
even force the first belief to be true? And now build this second belief. And then
ask yourself, What belief would I like to have, that would force the first two
beliefs to be true? And then build this third belief for yourself... because three
intensely felt, mutually-reinforcing beliefs can change your entire way of living.
If you haven't yet demonstrated to yourself that, using the simple
version of this technique, you can build a strong, physically felt belief
within yourself in 30 or 60 seconds, please use the technique again,
immediately. Repeat the technique until the feelings you produce in
your body overwhelm your mental habits, and your conviction
becomes thorough.
Question:
What would it be like if everytime you wanted to learn something, you first built a
belief that you would learn this new information easily, and that you would love
learning it? And added to this a belief that you wanted to use this information as
often as possible, and at least daily?
Before we get to more elaborate versions of this technique, please take a few
moments and think through what you've just experienced. How can you use this
technique? How will you use this technique? Really imagine it. Imagine it
becoming part of your life, and changing how you feel as you do things... and
changing what you believe you can do.
Please fill out the form below as thoroughly
and thoughtfully as you can; afterwards, you'll
be taken to the next audio file in this program.

ConvictionCompression, cont'd.
Now let's learn a more elaborate version of this conviction crucible.
This version is built around first weakening the existing negative belief before replacing
it with a positive belief.
Let's now outline the ten steps involved.
First, specify the negative belief you want to get rid of, and measure how strong it is.
Second, specify the positive belief you want to put in its place.
Third, think of some events that may have led to the negative belief, or that seem to
prove or validate the negative belief.
Fourth, think of some alternative explanations for those events-- explanations that could
account for why things happened as they did, without the negative belief having to be
true.
Fifth, run the compression technique while telling yourself that the old explanation of
events is false and the new explanation of events is true.
Sixth, run the compression technique while telling yourself that the old explanation is
false, the new explanation is true, the old belief about the way the world works is false,
and the new belief is true.
Seventh, breathe now, and measure the strength of the old negative belief.
Eighth, repeat the first seven steps two more times.
Ninth, think of events-- possibly even events experienced by other people-- that support
your new belief.
Tenth, while holding your breath and squeezing, recite those events and your new belief.
Repeat this step at least three times, measuring the strength of the new belief each time.

1
While holding your breath and squeezing every muscle as hard as
you can, tell yourself,

Event A didn't happen mainly because of Reason 1, Event A mainly
happened because of Reason 2. Belief 1 is wrong, Belief 2 is right.

Then take a breath.
2
While again holding your breath and squeezing every muscle as
hard as you can, imagine that you're someone else, telling you the
same thing:
Event A didn't happen mainly because of Reason 1, Event A mainly
happened because of Reason 2. Belief 1 is wrong, Belief 2 is right.
3
While holding your breath and squeezing every muscle as hard as
you can, imagine that you're part of a crowd of people watching you,
and all of you are telling one another:
Event A didn't happen mainly because of Reason 1, Event A mainly
happened because of Reason 2. Belief 1 is wrong, Belief 2 is right.
4
Now relax yourself, breathe, and measure the felt intensity of Beliefs
1 and 2.
5
Intensify Belief2 by repeating the basic, standard PowerPress three
more times.
Please fill out the form below as thoroughly and
thoughtfully as you can; afterwards, you'll be
taken to a page with an unadvertised bonus
technique. :)

The Brain Twist
Want to strengthen your new belief even more?
Then use that part of you that naturally, physiologically, turns confusion into clarity.
Use that part of your body that kicks in and rebalances you, without you even having to
think about it.
Use your vestibulary system.
Get yourself literally and physically off-balance by spinning around; then spin around in
the reverse direction; then finally stop and do a PowerPress with a new belief... and
notice what happens; notice how strong you've made your new belief.

1
Go somewhere that you have privacy and a few square meters
within which to spin your body around. Now choose the belief that
you want to install or strengthen. Measure this belief: On a scale of 1
to 10, how strong is this belief right now?
2
Stretch your arms out to either side of you, as if they are wings. Now
spin around and around-- just as you probably did when you were a
child--, so that you become dizzy and disoriented. Spin around this
way for as long as you can.
3
Now suddenly reverse direction: If, for example, you had been
spinning to your right, now spin to your left. Do this until you again
get dizzy.
4
Stop and do a basic PowerPress (squeeze your body while
implanting or reinforcing the new belief, from all three
perspectives)...
5
Re-measure the belief. How strong is it now? Use multiple
PowerPresses until you are satisfied with your new belief's felt
solidity.

I'd very much appreciate your feedback on this technique; if you'd like to help me out by
