We are experiencing a great week at VBS this week.
My thanks to all who have made this week successful by your
hard work and sacrifice. I know God is blessing and we will
see great benefits for the Kingdom in the days ahead.
This week marks a milestone among one of our Staff.
Art and Dian Bruce have faithfully served First Baptist for ten
years. They celebrate this anniversary this Sunday and we
will recognize them in the morning worship service. Art has
served faithfully as Minister of Music and Sr. Adults and Dian
has volunteered in numerous positions in the church. Let them
know you appreciate them this Sunday.
This Sunday Evening we will join with Eldorendo
Baptist Church for the evening worship beginning at 6pm. I
will be driving the van for those wishing to ride together or
follow us up. The van will leave the church at 5:30 sharp as
we head north. I am always excited to worship with other
believers. Following the service there will be a time of
fellowship and a light meal.
Our youth just returned from an exciting week at
Merge Mission Camp and I am looking forward to hearing
their report. Watch the newsletter for the date and time of the
report. Some may be doing mini reports in the morning
service.
WELCOME Jeff and Michele Baxley and family. Jeff
has been in the office this week and went with the youth last
week to Merge. He is hitting the ground running and we like
that. Pray for, encourage and support him in his ministry.
I look forward to seeing you this Sunday.

musicians here at FBC. If you did not receive a survey
and have an interest in participating in the Music Minis-

Your faithful participation is needed for our body to per-
form at its best!

SAINTS ALIVE-MAKING A DIFFERENCE
On Monday, June 23, we sang at Willow Ridge Assisted
Living Facility and at Memorial Manor for 3 concerts.
What a blessing it is to share the love of Jesus and visit
with our friends in these facilities. Your presence means
so much!

We are the featured worship leaders for the Fifth Sunday
Sing which will be held at Eldorendo Baptist Church on
Sunday, June 29. The program will begin at 6:00 PM.
This is the evening worship service for First Baptist that
night. Fellowship meal will follow, immediately after the
singing.

MIGRANT MINISTRY A SUCCESS
In addition to hosting a meal for all the volunteers, our
mission volunteers organized the lunches and dinners,
gave over 200 boxes of food, clothed hundreds of migrant
workers and their families, gave New Testaments, and
shared the love of Christ. Thanks to all those who gave of
themselves so that others may know Christ.

Michelle and I are so excited to be here!!! We cannot wait to
be here full time. We both enjoyed our time at camp with the
students last week. What a great way to meet them and get to
know so many that were a part of the week. They were such a
blessing and we are extremely encouraged about what God is
going to do here at FBC in the future. Merge is a great camp
and the students were very receptive to the moving of the
Spirit.

We hope to be get moved over and settled over the next
couple of weeks. Know that I am here for you!! If you ever

TONIGHT Wednesday, June 22
Calling all men! If you are available, we need help cleaning up
the church! There are many things to take down and throw
away, but most importantly, we must take down tables and
chairs in preschool hallway and rearrange the chairs and add the
tables back into the youth room.

THIS SUNDAY Sunday, June 29
We are celebrating VBS during our morning worship. I am so
excited about what God has done over the last few days and can't
wait to share it with you! Also, the elementary school
participants are invited to lead us in a few VBS songs during the
11 am service.

We will be on the go this summer! Get your FBC Children's t-
