Dear Friend,
Greetings to you in the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ, from
everyone here at the church !here is an old saying that says "ho#e s#rings
eternal" !here is always ho#e, even when all reason says differently
God #ut within the heart of man$ind a ho#e that cannot %e denied &e
recently had a terrific 'i%le study !he sister who %rought the message gave many
thought(#rovo$ing )cri#tures and illustrations *ne of the verses of )cri#ture used
is found in Job 4:7-9 )ometimes we come across a tree that has %een cut down,
or fallen, and the stum# loo$s dry or rotted !here is no life left+ 'ut Jo% said
something different "For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will
sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease." ,ou might
as$, "-ow can this %e. /t loo$s dead, and it acts dead, so it must %e dead, right."
0ot so fast, my friend+ -ow often do you see shoots come out of a dead old stum#
in the ground. &e had some of our trees cut down in our yard several years ago
!here are always shoots that s#ring out of that old stum# that / have to $ee#

Jo% went on to say, "Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and
the stock thereof die in the ground !et through the scent of water it will bud,
and bring forth boughs like a plant" !hat root system is always reaching out to
find water so the tree can live !his is li$e our lives sometimes Circumstances and
situations comes our way to ro% us of vitality &e %ecome weary and care(torn or
fret over what we don1t have or what used to %e 'ut God1s &ord always %rings us
ho#e2 ho#e for a new life in Christ, and ho#e for a new tomorrow
Do you $now the 'i%le tells us our future is %righter than our #ast. &hat
lays ahead of us far outshines some of the difficulties of our #ast, yet we fret over
things we can do nothing a%out !he river of water of life is #ure, clear as crystal
!he tree of life will %e there, which will yield fruit and the leaves of that tree will
%e for the healing of the nations !here shall %e no more curse 3can you imagine
no more mos4uitoes+5 !here will %e no more death, no more sorrow, no more
#ain, for all those things will %e #assed away+ 0o more sighing, no more
arguments, and no more evil and sin !orment and loneliness has no #lace in that
city #re#ared for us %y the Lord !here will %e no loc$ed doors %ecause no one
will want to %rea$ into your mansion and steal what God gives you *thers will %e
as rich as you so there will %e no 6ealousy+ 0o electric %ills or ta7es to #ay !here
will %e no fear of the night %ecause the Lord1s glory will light that city &e will
wal$ in the light of the Lam% of God &e will %e a%le to wal$ without canes or
wal$ers, and there will %e no more wheel(chairs, no glasses or hearing aides
%ecause we will have a new %ody, a resurrected %ody, li$e the one Jesus Christ
had after -is resurrection / want you to $now / have this in writing+ /t is in the
contract / made with God, who told me if / give -im my sins, -e will grant me
favor and life &hen / committed my life to -im several years ago, / didn1t reali8e
all this was in the &ord for me, %ut / have discovered %y studying the 'i%le that
all these things %elong to those who overcome this world
/ wrote all of that to tell you this !hose things are good and it will definitely
%e %eyond our wildest imaginations what God has #re#ared for us 'ut that is not
why / want to go to heaven / want to see -im who died on the cross for me /
want to worshi# -im who s#ared me from destruction, and who %lessed me with a
wonderful family, good friends, and a church that #rays and see$s God a%ove all
else / want to see -im who had #atience with me and healed me and forgave me
of all my transgressions and sins9 who strengthened my wea$ areas, and every
time / called on -is name -e was there / want to see -im who cared when it
seemed things were ho#eless and dar$ and / didn1t $now where to turn or what to
do Jesus Christ has %ecome my salvation and there is none other / may have
made some mista$es along the way, %ut my focus is not on the "cant:s" and the
what "if1s," or the wrong things that have ha##ened, %ut / am concentrating on
things eternal and what lays %efore me ;y goal is to reach out to the lost, those
who don1t $now our wonderful )avior and do my %est to introduce them to -im
who loves us all ;y aim is to su##ort the church and those who have dedicated
their lives to the Gos#el of Christ
/f you are struggling in your faith, let me encourage you to come to church
and hear the &ord of God -e will guide you and give you answers that won1t
come from the world -e set ministries in the church to #erfect you and ena%le
you to %e ready for when -e calls us home+
