Who Should Attend
Managerial role in a hospital is increasingly getting cross functional and
interdependent. Interpreting and analyzing relevant financial information in decision
making contexts is important for every functional manager to contribute effectively to
the growth of organization. Strategic decisions in a hospital are taken by professionals,
who come from non-financial background. One of the biggest obstacles in decision
making is their inability to judge the financial implications of their strategic inputs.
Financial Statement is an interface provided by the organization to share information
and communicate with people, both inside and outside the organization. Knowledge in
the finance domain is the key for a professional, in effective communication as well as
for apt decision making.
This programme will provide the ability to decipher the dimensions where financial and
functional issues interrelate, enable the participants to process financial information
generated by organizations and acquire apt decision making competencies across
functions. This programme will equip the participant to handle resource acquisition
and allocation, and communicate effectively with the firm's financial managers.
The programme will broadly cover the following areas:
Ability to formulate, analyze, implement and support financial strategies and
goals
Ability to prepare budgets, introduce budgetary controls and planning and
management of resources
Using Cost information for decision making
Understanding and analyzing Corporate Financial Statements
Understanding and determining Cost flows in an organization
Understanding the implications of Financial Audit
Understand and balance conflicting and complex financial objectives
Ability to understand the ways of financial resource generation, from national and
global capital markets
The programme is designed for hospital professionals in key decision making portfolios,
