A PROJECT REPORT ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PRESELL

SYSTEM IN CHANDIGARH ITS PROS AND CONS

















































EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Presell implementation is a new marketing strategy adopted by Kandhari
Beverages Pvt. Limited . This marketing strategy will help the company
to deliver its service to its customers (retailers) effectively and
efficiently . By this strategy, the company executive (MDs) can visit
each outlet at least two or three times in a week.
As the competition in soft drinks industry is really high , marketing
strategies like preselling play an important role in increasing the
market share and maintaining the brand value as well as utilizing the
resources at the optimum cost .
Each market developer (preseller) is in charge of around hundred
and twenty outlets . For the effective implementation of preselling
PJP (permanent journey plan) acts as a backbone along with the
order generation and merchandising.
My project was to find out the pros and cons of the implementation
of preselling in Chandigarh , for which I got associated with the
presellers , used a primary method for data collection and analysed
various factors having an effect on the implementation of the presell
system































SCOPE OF THE STUDY

A research was carried out to find out the pros and cons of the
implementation of the presell system in Chandigarh . This study projects
that the effectiveness of the presell system in Chandigarh. This research
is an attempt to help the company Coca Cola so that they can study the
positives and negatives coming out of the presell system in the
Chandigarh region .
However, such a study can be used by :

Companies looking for entering into the business of soft drinks or
fruit drinks
in the Chandigarh region
Many established FMCG based companies .
Entrepreneurs

PRESELL IMPLEMENTATION
Presell implementation is the new marketing strategy adopted by
Kandhari Beverages Pvt. Limited .By this new marketing strategy coke
can deliver its goods and services to its customers effectively and
efficiently at a lower cost. For the effective implementation of presell
system three factors play a vital role. Coordination of these three factors
are very important for presell implementation .
These factors are :

The role of the preseller / Market developer
Permanent journey plan
Effective supply chain management

wh a t p a r t n e r s h i p t o develop. Selling is a part of marketing
and this study is based on how Kandhari Beverages Private Limited ,
a franchise sales unit of Coca Cola , can increase its sales using the
presell method .
In the presell method , a preseller is given an area to cover , for which the
preseller generates the order for the retailer , merchandises and displays
different products , communicates about the schemes and assures the
product delivery .
