How to activate a Matrix Voice+Data SIM card (in an Android Smartphone) when

travelling to UK or Europe
Instructions are common for both UK and rest of Europe, so even if the SIM card is changed
in the mobile, the steps and settings remain the same.
Do not put the mobile in Flight mode. Rather, switch it off after on India and on reaching
destination, switch it on again.
The voice calls should work automatically (and this can be checked in India itself.
The data services (which cannot be checked from India should also work automatically, but
in case they don!t, the following settings are to be done (for "amsung #ala$y "%&
#o to Setting!" 'hoose #onnection! Tab&
'lick on More $etwor%!" 'lick on Mo&ile $etwor%!"
Mo&ile Data and Data 'oaming should both be ticked.
'hange $etwor% Mode to (#DMA)*SM (auto connect)+ in case it is not so.

choose -'e!et to De.ault!/

'lick on the matrix option, which ensures that the green dot is now highlighted ne$t to it.
'lick the back button till you come back to previous screen.
The data services should work now.
