from the Hofprglhtte. The Johann and new Anna
via ferratas can be reached from the Bachlalm or

Through the north wall of the Kapuzinerberg, 130 m
long, highest difficulty level, overhangs in parts,
therefore only for experienced climbers.
A challenging via ferrata with a splendid view of the
city of Salzburg.
Climbing equipment, helmet required.
Start: next to the parking garage in the
Glockengasse.
Duration: ca. 30 - 45 min. via ferrata accessible all-
day (except March 1 - June 30 each year due to
falcon breeding season!).
Descent: back via the path or you can use the
Capuchin monastery path - Linzer Gasse -
Glockengasse.

The via ferrata is not kept open to the public. The
entrance has a gate, registration required at the
Akzente office. The keys (deposit 30) for the gate
can be picked up from Mon-Thu 8am - 12pm and 1-
5pm, Fri 8am 12pm (for the weekend, no later
than Fri) at Akzente Salzburg.
--> A helmet is required! No helmet, no keys!
