Druva insync is an automated enterprise endpoint backup software solution that protects corporate
data and is currently being used for laptops. In future this solution will be available for desktops &
mobile devices also.

We have installed DRUVA insync in 1330 laptops in HQ today.

The newly distributed laptops will have this software automatically.

Deduplication - Druva uses specialized data compression technique for eliminating duplicate
copies from multiple users.

Total size of user data is 8.3 TB & it has reduced 52% using the deduplication technology results
in 4.33 TB of consumed space.







It is also installed for selected region laptops as a testing phase.

This can be synced in internet as well, which will be enabled after the testing is over.

You can select the mission critical folder for which the backup is required. Ensure it
contains data less than 10 GB.

The data in the server is encrypted using 256 bit AES encryption
You can restore the data by selecting the date in last 15 days & 4 weeks.

It is configured to schedule once per day to sync your modified data.

Executables, Audio, Video, Image files etc., are blocked for backup.

You can restore a whole folder/sub folder/file by selecting it.

User will be alerted through email if any backup has failed or any folder is
misconfigured

Few points to be noted for your backup
By default 10 GB quota is allocated for all laptop users.

Make sure the folder you include contains data less than 10 GB which is alloted.
Select folder and click next &
click add
Once you are done with the selection of folders, then it gets automatically backed
up the next day based on your schedule.
