How To Install Cisco Click to Dial (CTD) v8.6 and


Salesforce SDFCAdapter

Overview
This article describes the steps necessary to install Cisco CTD (Click to Dial) v8.6 and the Salesforce
SDFCAdapter for users who currently have VERSION 8. Cisco CTD is a feature in SalesForce which
allows an MEA to click the phone number of a sales lead, and immediately are
connected via their Cisco IP Phone.

Special Considerations (before installation)
Software installation and modem Configuration must be completed as Local Administrator.
If this is a new installation, verify with IT Telecom that IP phone is configured to work with Click to Dial.
NOTE: Sales Force must be opened in Internet Explorer

Instructions
Step 1: Install the Cisco TSP
1. Browse
to: \\ltfinc.net\ltfshare\it\software\EndUserSoftware\cisco\salesforce_integration\8XTSP\8.6(2.7)

2. Copy the contents of the appropriate OS folder to the desktop (install should be run locally):
Windows XP Machines:
\\ltfinc.net\ltfshare\it\software\EndUserSoftware\cisco\salesforce_integration\8XTSP\8.6(2.7)\Wind

3. Run the install file:
CiscoTSP.exe for Windows XP
CiscoTSPx64.exe for Windows 7
4. If the program prompts you for a TFTP server, it is: 10.1.9.70
5. Once the installation is complete (Do Not restart the computer yet):
Navigate to: Control Pane l> Phone and Modem Options > Advanced tab
Select CiscoTSP001.tsp from the list, then click Configure.
Use the following Configuration Settings:
Field Setting
Club Username
4-digit clubcode + CTD

Examples:
Beechwood, OH = OHBWCTD
Plymouth, MN = MNPLCTD
Club Password Default voice mail password
Corporate Username MNCORPCTD
Corporate Password Default voice mail password
CTI Manager
IP Primary: 10.1.9.71
IP Backup::10.1.9.73
Wave Tab Leave both boxes unchecked
Trace Tab Leave default
Advanced Tab Default
Language English
Security TFTP Server IP: 10.1.9.70



Step 2: Install the Cisco/Salesforce.com CTI Adapter
1. Run the install file: CiscoSFDC*.msi

2. Accept the defaults EXCEPT when asked to install for Everyone or Just Me;
choose Everyone.

3. Restart the computer.
Step 3: Confirm the Install was Successful
1. Right click the SalesForce icon in the System Tray (as shown below):

2. Select Configure:
A list of MAC addresses and corresponding IP Phone Extensions will appear:
Select the appropriate Extension for the Sales Representative who will be using Click to Dial.
3. Complete a test call, then restart the computer.
NOTE: IF you DO NOT see the Salesforce.com icon on the system tray (as shown above
in Step 3: Inst. #1):
Click Start > Programs > Cisco Systems > Cisco Unified CallConnector for SalesForce -
which starts the adapter.
Verify the MAC address is correct.
Verify the IP addresses in TSP configuration are correct.

Troubleshooting (common mistakes)

1. Did you choose the correct folder based off the operating system?
2. Were you sure to restart at the correct time?
3. If the option to configure does not appear attempt another reboot.
