ZOMBIE INVASION

By Stubbs

There was a pleasant chill in the night air as I strolled

towards the bottom of Queen Street. The sky was
splattered with cloud that was lit by the city's lights. It
was perfect weather for Halloween night. As I drew
closer to the Britomart a faint mumbling filled the air.
I turned the corner and jumped back in fright! A pale
bloodied figure loomed out of the darkness
mumbling, 'brains……BRAINS!'

I waited for their attack…but nothing happened.

Peeking under my arm I saw the crowd of zombies
had stopped at a pedestrian crossing. How weird, I

Then I noticed that one had a megaphone and was

MOVIE REVIEW
The idea of a Santa slasher flick was awesome,
although not original, as the killer Santa idea had
already been done, but nowhere near as well as this.
And, lucky me, this film was made in the 80's while I
was growing up, which made it all the more desirable
to watch. I try to get round to viewing this movie
every year as part of my own Christmas tradition (just
like watching Halloween movies on Halloween, and
Friday the 13th movies on Friday the 13th).

As you'd probably guess, the film is really cheesy,

and follows a rather unbelievable storyline, but all of
that adds to the enjoyment. Seeing the demented
Santa (Billy) go on his killing spree is great
entertainment.

This movie has 4 shoddy sequels; part 2 is pretty

much just a rehash of the first movie, full of
'flashbacks' which are cuts from the first film. Haha!
Way to make easy money there.

It's pretty easy to see why SNDN was so

controversial in its time. It really pushed the
boundaries of what ideas were socially acceptable to
dramatize at the time, and for that reason will remain
a piece of movie history. The movie itself is rather
timid compared to some horror movies around these
days, but the bans it received give it a reputation that
precedes it.

Directed by Charles E. Sellier Jr.

Starring Lilyan Chauvin, Gilmer
McCormick, Toni Nero, Robert Brian

Summary by Ed Sutton

A young boy watches his parents killed by a

thief in a Santa suit. He spends his youth in
an orphanage, staying quietly to his self, but
his mind is further bent by an ironhanded
Mother Superior. He finally gets a job at a
local store, where he finally snaps when he
is required to wear a Santa suit, and goes on
a killing spree that leads him slowly back to
the orphanage.

Review by Brendon Williams Don't fuck with Santa. Or he'll kill you.

What were your influences when you started? a few ideas already. After “Werk 80 II” we want to do
a trilogy – a three CD concept album.
Mostly bands like Carcass and Morbid Angel. Also
different stuff like Watchtower and Nasty Savage. What about???
Especially if you listen closely to some of our early
stuff you can really hear some Nasty Savage in it. I can't tell you! (laughs) We are really a band full of
secrets. But we were thinking of what would be next
You were never afraid to explore new musical for Atrocity and we would really like to do a trilogy

This idea was actually really old. Since we started

Well, besides playing with

usual stuff, like going out,

big PC gamer. I love “Call

“Medal Of Honor,” “Rome:

of games. I go online and
play with other people.

What about the other
