Optimize pit design quickly by evaluating mineral deposits in light of commodity
prices and costs. The MineSight Long Term Planning Open Pit Engineering
Package harnesses the power of 3D CAD tools to produce pit designs, and build
and manage an economic model. A resource model can be built and managed by
using a basic interpolation of 3D block, stratigraphic, and gridded surface models.
MineSight Economic Planner enables planning engineers to design mining
sequences and generate life-of-mine schedules, including rapid evaluation of
alternative plans to maximize net present value.

Now enhanced with multithreading and *64-bit capacity, MineSight Economic
Planner (MSEP) enables planning engineers to design mining sequences and
generate life-of-mine schedules, including rapid evaluation of alternative plans to
maximize net present value (NPv). The multithreaded*64-bit version of MSEP
increases the speed of calculations and the amount of data processed. MSEP is
the initial MineSight tool applied to new open pit pro|ects during the pre-feasibility
and conceptual planning stages. t creates a practical and operational phase
design. Ceometric results from MSEP are used by the MineSight 3D Pit Expansion
tool to design pits with ramps and berms. The destination strategy created by
MSEP is then used by MineSight Strategic Planner for more detailed scheduling.
