Student and Supervisor Learning Contract

Behaviour:

1. Both parties (Student and Supervisor) will agree to respond to
any correspondence (e.g., Email, telephone messages, etc.)
within five working days upon opening the communication*.

2. Both parties will give advanced noticed, of at least two days, if
unable to attend arranged meetings.

3. The student will submit all working progress in advance of any
meetings (whether by email, post, fax, etc)

4. In any event, the student undertakes to submit regular work in
progress including outline contents, draft chapters and
reference/bibliography list every month to demonstrate
progress.

5. The supervisor will give feedback on any work in progress within
one week of receipt. (whether by email, telephone, etc)

*Subject to students and supervisors other commitments and, following
discussion, supervision may take place by email and or telephone. Both
supervisor and supervisee must keep a record of this commitment.

Learning Activities:

The student will:

1. Take responsibility of his/her own learning.

2. Read appropriate literature as specified by his/her supervisor.

3. Complete any tasks set by the supervisor with the specified
timescale.

4. Agree to submit the final Dissertation on ..
