The New Nukeproof Pulse Set Yours Racing
The Pulse is the result of two seasons of development
input from the riders and mechanics of Team CRC/
Nukeproof competing on the DH World Cup circuit
a frame built to meet the demands of professional
racers on any course with improved and simplified rider
tunability.
The evolution of our highly acclaimed Nukeproof Scalp
race rig, the Pulse features updated geometry and
enhanced design features for a hugely improved ride
dynamic, and introduces our new Style Fit adjustable
chainstay.
Interchangeable dropout inserts allow you to alter the
wheelbase by 10mm depending on the type of track
youre riding, your height or riding style (long setting
= 445mm, short setting = 435mm). Whatever the
conditions, the Pulse can be adapted to excel!

The Heart Of The Matter
At the beating heart of the Pulse is its suspension system, an improved version of Nukeproofs proven three-stage Fallout
Linkage offering an instinctive platform thats been fine-tuned to take on the worlds highest, fastest, steepest and most
gnarly trails.
Weve refined the linkage which introduces our Teardrop Technology twin links which add lateral stiffness with improved
handling and stability during suspension compression resulting in a more stable bike and a smoother suspension feel
throughout the stroke of the shock, pushing you to ride on the edge of whats possible. Weve also slimmed down the
swingarm significantly, minimising the unsprung weight and improving square-edge bump compliance without compromising
strength. Our Split Forge System allows us to utilise the material properties of the frame to improve lateral stiffness and
provide a stronger yet lighter yoke while reducing the number of welds, allowing a larger area to disperse any loads and
forces applied.
Race-Bred, Test-Proven
Built using T6 6061 aluminium with custom triple-butted hydroformed tubing for a perfectly balanced strength to weight
combination, the Pulse has been designed with a view to refining and improving all aspects, from tubing and bearings to
cable guides and pinch bolts.
A slack 63 degree head angle and centrally-positioned shock and linkage system ensure optimum race handling while other
features include a true 1.5 head tube, ISCG 05 mounts and a 150mm x 12mm rear axle to keep things stable at the rear.
Weve also designed the frame to be easily serviceable, with improved bolt and shock access for home mechanics.

For 2014 we continue to offer our highly regarded
Scalp DH frame which now presents unbelievable
value and brings high performance to the masses in
an affordable package!
Taking its name from the legendary downhill track
at Moneyscalp Wood in Co. Down, the Nukeproof
Scalp is our original DH race rig offering 209mm of
progressive rear travel via a pull-link driven single-
pivot suspension system.
Ridden through two tough seasons on the DH World
Cup circuit by the riders of Team CRC/Nukeproof,
the Scalp is a race-proven speed machine within the
reach of all riders.
8 FRAMES : SCALP
Built using T6 6061 aluminium with custom triple-butted hydroformed tubing for a perfectly balanced strength to weight
combination, the Scalp is a slack and low-slung gravity sled built for the steepest, most technical and most challenging race
runs the sport can throw up.
Boasting a super-slack 63 degree head angle, 47.12 wheelbase and +17mm BB height (medium size) the Scalp is
characterised by its centrally-positioned shock and linkage system to keep the centre of gravity low and handling sweet.
Rear hub spacing is standard 150mm while BB shell width is 83mm. The 1.5 headtube can be used in conjunction with the
latest generation of Nukeproof headsets to cater for OS 1.5 steerer forks, standard 1 1/8 or tapered steerers.
Progressive Platform
Suspension-wise, the Scalp uses a single-pivot configuration with a unified rear triangle for optimum strength and stiffness.
Its pull-link driven Fallout Linkage drives the shock in a three-stage progressive action - progressive throughout, with increasing
progression at the beginning and end of the stroke, but a linearly progressive midstroke to avoid any spikes in damping.
Huge 40mm diameter main pivot bearings are used with bearings mounted in machined faces in the swingarm to provide
maximum spacing and stiffness. Twin dogbones pull, rather than push, the swinglink giving a perfect progression rate and
allowing ride height tuning by swapping for different length links.

The original Nukeproof Mega was inspired by the
explosion in Enduro-style DH events, taking its name
and its cues from the daddy of them all
the Megavalanche.
The Mega AM has an all-new custom hydroformed
tubeset for increased front-end stiffness and improved
strength-to-weight ratio, plus an additional 10mm rear
travel now 160mm offering ultimate stability and
confidence on the most gnarly of Alpine descents.
Now designed to take forks with up to 180mm
travel, the Mega AM combines downhill prowess with
pedalling efficiency perfect for the unique challenges
thrown up by competitive Enduro events, Alpine trips,
All-Mountain adventures or tough, technical riding
where uplifts arent an option.

gives clearance for a front derailleur and compatibility with all leading models of ISCG 05 -
mounted chain retention systems.
Geometry is based around a slack 66degree head angle and 73.5 degree seat angle, with a long
wheelbase keeping the centre of gravity low for optimum stability at speed.
A 44mm headset standard keeps the front of the bike light, with Nukeproof headset options
allowing flush internal, flush top/external bottom, tapered or 1.5 headset compatibility, while at
the rear, a 142mm x 12mm thru-axle keeps things planted.

The 2013 Nukeproof Mega AM was an evolution of our
Megavalanche inspired Enduro race machine.
For 2014 weve tweaked the geometry and optimised
it for the new 27.5 wheel size, offering a more stable
platform and improved rolling over rough and technical
terrain.
Now designed to take forks with up to 180mm travel,
the Mega AM 275 combines downhill prowess with
pedalling efficiency perfect for the unique challenges
thrown up by competitive Enduro events, Alpine trips,
All-Mountain adventures or tough, technical riding
where uplifts arent an option.

Featuring a lighter custom-hydroformed tubeset than the AM to shave off some weight, the Mega TR is designed to take
forks with travel between 140mm and 160mm, making it just as capable of tackling a marathon event or full day of trail
centre runs as it is an Alpine Enduro.
Just like the original Mega the TR also uses our Erosion linkage giving a smooth, progressive suspension action with a
well controlled mid-stroke to avoid wallowing under pedal loads the perfect platform for a true trail bike that needs to
climb as well as descend.
Oversize main bearing pivots are contained in a bespoke CNC-machined Bottom Bracket assembly to ensure alignment,
durability and precision, while the chainstay design gives clearance for a direct-mount front derailleur.
Our aggressive trail/enduro geometry is based around a 67degree head angle and 73.5 degree seat angle, while a
44mm headset standard keeps the front of the bike light. Nukeproof headset options allow flush internal, flush top/
external bottom, tapered or 1.5 headset compatibility, while a 135mm/142mm x 12mm thru-axle keeps things planted
at the rear.
The Mega TR also features removable cable guides for an adjustable seat post, as well as internal cable routing for a

The New Nukeproof Rook. Ready To Shred?
Developed in close collaboration with Canadian
slope-shredder and Nukeproof team rider Jack
Fogelquist, the Rook rips up the rule book like
Jack rips up the park, bringing trick features
straight off the pro circuit and onto a factory
frame.
First up weve developed the Rook with a
revolutionary new headtube designed to work
seamlessly with a hydraulic gyro (detangler) and
open up a whole wide world of bar spins, tail
whips and all the sick stunts in your trick bag.
The design integrates the gyros bottom
cup into the headtube, giving a stack height
of just 10mm and keeping bar height
low for perfect cockpit tuning and body
positioning a sure-fire game-changer for
riders intent on attacking the slope.
The Rook also offers the ability of running
a shifter on the downtube via the optional
downtube shifter mount to let you run gears
without worrying about tangled cables.
Call it a trick shifter, call it a suicide shifter
youve been asking for it so here it is.

Slope Or Trail The Choice Is Yours
Slope-honed innovations aside, the Rook is designed as a versatile and highly tuneable rig as comfortable on the
trails as it is in the park.
A custom-hydroformed T6 6061 aluminium tubeset makes for a lightweight agile ride which combines supreme
manoeuvrability with big hit durability to take the spills of the slope and the thrills of the trail. Up front is the
44mm 56mm tapered headtube with integrated gyro compatibility which takes a standard 1 1/8 and
tapered steerers. A dummy gyro blank is included with the frame as this is an integral part of the frame design;
fully operational Gyro is sold separately. The rear features 135mm-spaced dropouts which are designed to take
a 12mm thru-axle for maximum precision and big-hit capability.
Suspension-wise, 105mm rear travel is delivered via Nukeproofs proven Erosion link design. A low, mildly
progressive leverage rate gives a stiff platform for dirt jumping or slopestyle when used with 150+ PSI. However,
switch the shock to its minimum compression position and run below 150 PSI and you instantly have a supple,
active suspension feel for freeride or trail riding.
The geometry of the Rook is optimised for a 110mm travel fork giving a 13 BB height and 69 degree head
angle. Running the frame with a 160mm fork raises the BB to 13.75 and slackens the head angle to a trail-
taming 66 degrees. Meanwhile chainstays are kept short (420mm) for pumping tight bowls and easy manualling
while ISCG mounts come as standard.

The Nukeproof Solum steel DJ frame, designed
exclusively in collaboration with Canadian
slopestyle superstar Jack Foqelquist.
20 FRAMES : SOLUM
Built from custom triple-butted cro-mo tubing, the Nukeproof Solum harnesses the characteristics of
top-end steel for a sweet and supple ride through the rollers. Dialled geometry makes handling a breeze -
in the air and on the ground - while bombproof construction means the Solum will take the hits and come
bouncing back for more.
Optimized for use with a 100mm travel fork Jacks personal preference the Solum features a 69.5
degree head angle for steering precision while short, 385mm chainstays make for snappy handling and
easy manuals.
Up front, a custom 44mm headtube accepts either tapered or 1 1/8 fork standards and also features
full compatibility with CaneCreeks new 44mm Detangler Headset which enables the bike to run a
hydraulic gyro for tangle free barspins and tailwhips! Additional neat features include integrated chain
tension adjusters; integrated seat clamp and removable cable guides for riders who prefer not to run
rear brakes. Because thats the way Jack likes it, and we think youll like it too.

Super-tough, smooth-spinning and rock-solid underfoot, the Nukeproof Electron
pedals have been designed to offer a lightweight platform that isnt going to
break the bank.
Built using a nylon-reinforced composite material, the Electrons use sealed
cartridge bearings to help spread the stress load from heavy impacts, while
rubber lip seals between the axle end and pedal body reduce the ingress of
water and dirt which will keep them going for longer in between services.
Six replaceable and adjustable steel pins per side allow you to customise the
level of grip to meet your own requirements. There are also two moulded pins

The five time downhill world champion needs no introduction. He is widely regarded as one of the best riders
of all time and as such, he knows what works best! The Sam Hill Signature series is a no-compromise range
of race ready components chosen by Sam as the tools for the job.
The entire Sam Hill Signature Series also features matching graphics which were inspired by Sam himself.
Sam has always been particular about his handlebar set-up:
Manufactured from high grade 7075 aluminium for strength and
featuring a shot-peened finish to maximise fatigue resistance, the Sam
Hill Signature Riser Bars feature a 20mm or 38mm high rise, 760mm
width and a 9 back-sweep/6 up-sweep to optimise ergonomics and
deliver confident handling through the roughest of terrain.
Although the bars were built for the rigours of world cup level DH
competition, they are light enough for any kind of riding at just 298g

Signature Series stem has been engineered for the optimum balance of light
weight and stiffness without compromising structural integrity.
Featuring a one-piece four-bolt face plate for maximum stiffness and security
against bar slippage, it is compatible with the industry standard 4-bolt top crown
mounting pattern and is suitable for use on all matching dual-crown DH forks
including RockShox Boxxer, Marzocchi 888 (2012 onwards), Fox and BOS.

The Sam Hill Signature Series Seatpost has been re-designed
from the ground up. It features all of the qualities that Nukeproof
customers are used to but in a package which is easier to adjust.
Custom 3D forged from 2014-T6 series aluminium for optimum
strength, the signature seatpost consists of a one piece shaft
and lower clamp section topped with a cold-forged clamp head,
with both the upper and lower clamp and rail assemblies CNC-
machined in critical stress areas for superior strength and fatigue
resistance. The 400mm long shaft is turn finished for quality and
features an elliptical internal bore to further increase the strength
to weight ratio by removing unnecessary material in key areas
without compromising structural integrity.

The Sam Hill Series Signature Saddle has been custom designed from the ground up. Inspired by Sams
own motocross saddle, the most obvious feature of the signature saddle is the pleated top cover which is
designed to optimise grip in wet and muddy conditions. Made from tough, durable lorica it is tear resistant
with Kevlar scuff guards on the outer corners to improve abrasion resistance.
It features a smaller body than any other Nukeproof saddle, measuring in at 255mm x 127mm to
maximise clearance and manoeuvrability on the bike. The smaller body, reduced padding and CrN Ti alloy
rail compound improve the strength-to-weight ratio. Weighing in at just 234g it is a lightweight contender
which packs a heavyweight punch.

Featuring CNC-machined 7000-series aluminium lockrings for
wet-weather peace of mind and built in bar end plugs the Signature

CHAINSTAY PROTECTOR - KEVLAR
The Nukeproof Logo Chain Stay Protector is a
lightweight neoprene chainstay protector. The
material has elastic properties for versatility and
is secured in place with Velcro closure running the
length of the neoprene. It also features a subtle
black Nukeproof Logo and yellow stitching detailing.
The Nukeproof logo chainstay protector has evolved.
The new Nukeproof Embossed logo chainstay
protector is constructed from a mix of TKL (Kevlar)
and neoprene; to produce a product which will provide
quiet and long lasting chain slap protection for your
frame. It is attached via a Velcro closure running the
length of the material and to ensure it stays securely
in place it has anti-slip rubber on the back. Due to the
nature of the new material it is slightly less elastic
than traditional neoprene chainstay protectors so you
will need to order the correct size to fit your frame.
Once in place you will be amazed by how long it lasts,
stays in place and how quiet your bike rides!
