The document discusses views on contraception from a Christian ethics perspective. It references Genesis 9:7 where God commands Noah to be fruitful and multiply. Some Christians believe this means procreation is required. However, others note Jesus also said to have dominion over creation, so having too many children could be a sin. The document aims to present different views, with some arguing contraception is unethical while others say it is ethical to limit family sizes due to modern challenges of raising children. Examples of early contraceptive methods from ancient Egypt are provided. The conclusion notes there are factors on both sides of the issue to consider.

Genesis 9:7 says As for you, be fruitful and increase in number; multiply on the earth and increase upon it. In this verse, people were instructed to multiply and populate the earth. It shows here how God created the wonderful unity of man and woman which whom God designed sexual intercourse to encapsulate marriage. Moreover, this was Gods command to Noah which is to multiply and replenish the land. Coming from an absolute source, this has become the stand of some fellow Christians to procreate. But we have to keep in mind, that Jesus also said to have dominion over his creation therefore, having too much is a sin.
