Majority of employees feel that organization is responsible for working conditions


leading to comfortable work life
Majority of employees feel that QUALITY OF WORK LIFE enhances motivation
and commitment
Majority of employees are of opinion that the departments in the organization
cooperate with each other
Employees feel free to offer comments and suggestions
The training programmes are implemented in steel plant helps an employee to achieve
the required skill for performing the job efficiently
Employees are satisfied with the social security benefits that are being provided in
your organization
There is a balance between stated objectives and resources provided by the
organization

Visakhapatnam Steel Plant is one of the best among the steel manufacturing industries in our
country. In the present scenario, the Human Resource Management has got very much
importance. For any organization, the employees are the key holders who do the work for the
industry with greater responsibility. So HR department should look after the employees
needs and try to get them fulfilled when they seem to be important.
The term Quality of work life refers to the facilities provided for the
employees at the working environment. The main aim of providing Quality of work life is to
achieve the organizations objectives and retain efficient employees in the organization. By
these measures, the employees get motivated and feel responsible towards the organization
and give their best.
When I came to know about the Quality of work life provided for the employees
in the organization, I felt good because the employees are getting what they need.

If the organization can really consider the suggestions given by the employees and implement
some best ideas, the dissatisfaction level in the employees can be reduced. The organization
should take more initiatives regarding the Quality of work life given by them.

ANALYSIS & CONCLUSIONS

QWL programs are another way in which organisations recognise their responsibility to
develop jobs and working conditions that are excellent for people as well as for economic
health of the organisation. In light of these aspects, the research brought out some
interesting facts. The work environment is the prime motivating factor for an employee. The
participative style of management enables the employees in offering their valuable comments
and suggestions enhances the decision making process to be more efficient and reliable. The
training programs ensure that employees attain the required skills for performing the job
efficiently. Compensation and rewards, job satisfaction improves the morale of the employee.
Thus, QWL means having good supervision, good working conditions, good pay and benefits
an interesting, challenging and rewarding job.
After my survey was completed I came to know that very few percentage of the
employees are not satisfied with the Quality of work life provided for them. According to the
Maslow theory the psychology of the people change from time to time in fulfilling their
wishes and needs. They are never satisfied with the facilities provided for them. They still
want more and more facilities.
