1.1 Employee Personal Details

Employee Personal details


Allows the employee to view or update edit their details. Employees can view or update their
details depending on their user privileges.

1.1.1 Business

Advantages:

 Employee can view their personal details and update their details.
 Employee personal details like employee designation, blood group, age, place of
birth, ethnic race can be viewed or updated.
 Salutation and ethnic race are also available.

Benefits:

 Quick data entry of employee information.


 Consistency of information: Instant access to data and variety of management
reports.
 Security of data against breach / loss of data: Employee data is safe from any
security breach or hardware failure.
 Further only authorized employee can access the employee data with a multiple
login available.

 Should have the provision to attach a Employee video by using Browse button.
 Should have the provision to cancel the Employee person details screen and
navigate to home page.

1.2 Employee Contact Details

Allows the employee to edit their contact details such as name, address, mobile no and e-mail Id,
etc.,
It contains some mandatory field such as photo, temporary address, permanent address as well as
email-Id.

Advantages:

 Employee can view their personal details and update their details. Include mobile
no, e-mail Id, temporary address and permanent address.
 Employee is the only authorized person to edit, view and save the contact details.

Benefits:

 Avatar of each employee can also be displayed.


 Basic contact details can be maintained.
 Employee contacts will be maintained up-to-date.

 Should have the provision to edit the contact details.


 Should have the provision to save the contact details.
 Should have the provision to cancel the contact details.
 Reset can be used to clear the textbox content.

 Picture box is used to display the employee’s photo.


 Multi-line text box is used to add the multiple rows.

 In past application, Employee contact details have to maintain paper


documentary.
 In present/future application, Employee contact details were maintained in
databases which we can retrieve through web application.

Employee family details we can store the information about the family members relationship and
their employment details.

Advantages:

 Employee can add their family member’s details.


 Employee is the only authorized person to edit, view and save the contact details.
 Administrator can only view the employee family details it cannot be altered.
Benefits:

 Quick family data entry.


 Family details are maintained to send and receive the occasional reminders.

 Should have the provision to add the family details.


 Using edit button we can edit or add the family members details.
 Should have the provision to save the family details.
 Reset can be used to clear the textbox content.

 Drop down list box to select the family relationship.


 Date-time picker to select the date of birth.
 Radio button to select the relation employment details.

1.3.4 Past/Present/Future:

 In Past application, Employee family details cannot be maintained.


 In Present application, Employee family details were maintained as optional.
 In Future application, Employee family details are mandatory.

The details are maintained to contact the employee’s family members incase of emergency.

1.4.1 Business

Advantages:

 Employee can be add and update the emergency contact


 Employee can only alter the records.
 Emergency contact can be viewed by everyone in the organization/company.

Benefits:
 Using the clinical reports we can easily recover the affect person quickly.

1.4.2 Functional:

 Add button can be used to add the employee emergency contact details.
 Any changes in the entry using edit button to change the details and finally save
the changes.
 Reset can be used to clear the textbox content.

1.4.3 Technical:

 Plug in Drop down list box to select the family relationship.


 Plug in Multi-line text box to enter the home address.

1.4.4 Past/Present/Future:

 In Past application, Employee emergency contact only address were maintained.


 In Present application, Employee emergency contact such as blood group,
relations mobile no.
 In Future application, Employee emergency contacts are stored in intranet.

Employee banking details are maintained like branch , account type


and loan details.

1.5.1 Business

Advantages:

 Employee can edit particular field such as available loan, date of applicable loan.
 Employee can alter the field with the help of administrator.

Benefits:

 To view the past loan history whether he/she is eligible for another loan.
 Each employee can apply more than one loan dependent upon the designation.
 We can suggest which type of loan will be suitable for employee depending upon
their designation?

 Employee can only edit what type of loan is applicable.

 Using edit button we can edit and update the records.

details.

balance transfer, bill payment.

screen shots and data flow diagram. So it is very useful to understand the project
in better way.
1.8 Employee Personal Scheduler and Calendar

Employee personal scheduler is to maintain the important task and reminders to be done.

Advantages:

 Employee can edit and save the schedule date and time.
 Employee personal schedule maintain the calendar.
 Task and reminders are done in the calendar.

Benefits:

 To know the Day-to-day activity should be performed.


 To reduce the barrier.

 Should have the provision to set the task using save button.
 Any changes in the schedule using edit button to change the task or reminder.
 Employee can view and edit only the individual schedule.

 By clicking the particular date it will redirect to the employee scheduler form.

 In past application, It was very difficult to maintain the personal schedule.


 In present application, we use the phone reminders to know about the schedule.
 In future application, the reminders are shown in the pop-up menus on the
desktop.

Pay slip can be used to view the monthly and yearly pay details of the individual employee.

 Employee can select the pay month and pay-slip can be automatically generate
for the individual employee.

 To know the net salary, gross salary and allowance of the month

 Should have the provision to select month and year to generate the pay-slip for an
particular month.
 Pay-slip can be viewed only. It cannot be altered.

 Grid view to view the yearly reports.

 In past application, pay-slip was maintained by ledger.


 In present application, pay-slip is maintained with excel via window application.
 In future application, the reports can be imported by either of these format ( word
document, excel document, text format in notepad).

 Employee can view the immigration category and visa expiry date.
 Employee’s immigration details like nationality, work permit type, passport
renewal date and country of birth.

Benefits:

 Onsite project opportunities can be given to the employee having passport and
visa.

 Allows the user to track the Insurance details for an Employee in an
