ther ewith. The upper end of this inter media te tub e is

Thus, the inter media te tub e 23 is sec ur ed to the outer
tub e 17 thr oug h the c onnec tor 25 a nd c oupling 21. The
lower end 27 of the inter media te tub e is r educ ed in dia m

However , when peeled f r omthis tub e, a nd when disposed
a r ound the c or e, it will c ontr a c t a nd emb r a c e the c or e
snug ly , r eta ining it in a n inta c t c ondition within the
tub e 13. '
The inner tub e 13 inc ludes a lower sec tion 36 on whic h
the r ub b er sleeve 12 is mounted, the upper end of whic h
is thr ea dedly a tta c hed to the lower end of a n upper inner
tub e sec tion 37 . This upper inner tub e sec tion 37 is swiv
elly c a r r ied with r espec t to the inter media te a nd outer
tub es 23, 17 , so tha t the inner tub e will not r ota te with
the la tter dur ing the c or ing oper a tion, a nd, a s a r esult, the
r ub b er sleeve 12 a nd the c or e will a lso not r ot-a te with the
inter media te a nd outer tub es. As shown, the swivel 38
inc ludes a n outer b ea r ing housing 39 thr ea dedly a tta c hed
to the upper end of the upper inner tub e 37 a nd ter mina t
