BIO181
The course serves as an introduction to biotechnology
and the processes involved in it.
It focuses on the fundamental concepts, principles,
theories, and current developments in cell biology,
genetics, proteomics, immunology and
immunotherapy.

CREDIT UNIT(S)
! Three (3) unit

Discussion of advances in the eld of biomedicine and


relevant issues such as bioethics, intellectual property
rights, and the impact of biotechnology to industry,
society and the environment will be highlighted in this
course.
