We, the Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba, a
Catholic educational institution, commit ourselves to
the total human development and better quality of life
of our students, faculty and school staff, and the
promotion of a genuine community through an
education that is Filipino, Dominican and Christian in
orientation.

LETRAN CALAMBA VISION STATEMENT

In a culture of Conscience, Discipline and Excellence,
we envision Letran Calamba as a University, a center of
Science and Technology, as well as a vital formation
center in the religious and socio-economic
development of the region

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN PSYCHOLOGY

Psychology is the scientific study of human behavior
and mental processes. It is a discipline and professional
practice contributes to the national development
through basic and applied research and interventions
aimed at solving problems and promoting optimal
development and functioning at the individual, family
group, community and national levels. BS Psychology is
a 4-year undergraduate program which prepares
students for jobs that may involve training, testing and
research, and provides preparation for graduate
studies in Psychology as well as further studies in many
other professions such as medicine, law and business
management.

Psychologists are innovators. They develop new
approaches from established knowledge to meet
changing needs of people and societies.

Graduates of BS Psychology are capable of handling
basic job requirements in the field of training, research,
basic psychometrics, training and development and
among others, and in further developing relevant
knowledge in skills.
