Spare part management:

maintenance.
♦ Follow-up and co-ordinate with Purchase department.
♦ Follow-up and co-ordination with vendors for local development of imported parts.
♦ Review daily issues from stores for effective use of spares.
♦ Review of Min-max list with purchase to reduce inventory and verities of spares.
Cost management:
♦ Prepare annual budget for maintenance department.
♦ Monitor the budget against the expenditure.
♦ Monitor and ensure all type of energy reconciliation (Electricity, Diesel, Air, water etc..)
♦ Plan and do reduction in spare parts cost and spare part consumption.
♦ Reduce sub-contractor cost by transfer of AMC to in-house preventive maintenance.
♦ Prepare Capex (Capital expenditure) and additional for the maintenance and operation.
Manpower management:
♦ Guide maintenance team for effective planning of work-men as per priority list.
♦ Review with Maintenance member for effective utilization of man hours.
 Planning and information management.
♦ Control all the information regarding maintenance activities (break-down trends, MTTR, MTBF,
preventive maintenance status, preventive maintenance effectiveness, cost trends, energy trends
etc.)
♦ Give feed-back to all regarding overall performance of maintenance as well as area of strengths and
