Multiplying Mobility
Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC) is a skill development council for the Automotive
Sector jointly promoted by Department of Heavy Industry (Ministry of Heavy Industries),
Government of India, National Skill Development Corporation(NSDC) and Indian Automotive
Industry represented by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Automotive
Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) and Federation of Automobile Dealers
Associations of India (FADA).
ASDC is primarily engaged in the domain of skill development for the Automotive Sector, in the
areas of conducting research related to skill gap, developing training course curriculum &
training standards, training the trainers, assessment and certification of trainers and students.
These activities are being carried out by the experts from the Automotive Industry and Academia.
ASDC certification is preferred by the Automotive Industry and recognised by the Government of
India.

In line with ASDC mission towards self-sufficiency and skilled manpower for Automotive
industry, Transvahan has the distinction of becoming the first accredited and affiliated Training
Centre of ASDC for carrying out the training of Service technician programme and other
specialised-aggregate-based training modules like A/c systems Repairs, Suspension systems,
Steering systems , Electrical systems etc at its Bangalore center.

8-weeks of full time Theory, Practicals and Hands-on training
(Course material and starter kit provided).
4-weeks On-the-Job Training.

Assessment at end of course by ASDC.
