ABOUT ME

Well, first of all, Im not good at writing bios, about mes or whatever this is,
so Im just going to list a bunch of things about myself. And yeah, Im not very
good in English. I still get a score of 10/15 in
grammar. So if you see something wrong
about my grammar, Im really sorry about it.

Im Kristel Anne Yeen. Im just a 13-
year-old ordinary girl who eats like an
elephant but doesnt get fat, loves cookies
and peanut butter, sleeps like a cat, and
stays up all night texting and surfing the net,
does assignments in school and hates
waking up early in the morning. Seriously, I
do my works once in a blue moon
(because Im just that cool) or when I feel
like doing it. I still love reading fairytales
(and singing nursery rhymes, too), and I
dont care how old I am. Reading this stuff
had made me believe that happy endings,
forevers and prince charmings still exist. And
unicorns. Oh, and I am so obsessed with this
unicorn thingy that I still hope someday I get
to have one. I also love wearing long-sleeves shirts. I love watching anime. I love
food.

I can sing, dance and draw. Ha-ha. Im just kidding. I can only write and
compose songs, but I cant sing. I have a voice like Alvin (and the chipmunks).
My favorite song that I have written is about my friend who passed away 5 years
ago, and Im still working on it. Im still trying to figure out what title fits the song.
Its composed of our memories together.

Just like the other girls, Ive always wished that someday, Ill be able to
meet Taylor Swift, Paramore or be able to marry the ginger jesus and those five
gorgeous men in London.

Ive always wanted to be a lawyer or a politician. Or maybe a journalist.
Or a psychologist. Or a cartoonist. I dont know.

PICTURES

This is our
family pic-ture.
This photo was
taken after the
graduation of my
sister, who
graduated as
magna cum laude.

These are my
friends. This photo
was taken when we
went to Amo Yamie
Crib. It was really
fun.

This photo was
taken when our
class had a
recollection. He is
Kenneth Bie. This is
our first picture
together.

MATH PRAYER
Lord teach me to number my days
And graph them according to your ways
Trusting you to base me in my plan
To complement your perfect diagram
Subtract the points you do not want from
me
But add the values you have set at me
Divide the dividends I possess accordingly
So I can multiply them systematically.
Draw the lines I have to follow
Guide me properly with your arrow
Because sometimes I tend to be irrational
Yet all the while you want me to be
rational.
Well I learn that life is like a slope
With its ascents and descents that I must
cope
Going through such a wonderful formula
Is just like solving problem of the times
Life is indeed an infinite equation
Perfected by your eternal computation
And I, only a minuscule yet projection

Give thanks and praise your Almighty
creation.

MATHEMATICIAN

Rene Du Perron Descartes

I choose Rene Du Perron Descartes because he
was the one who questioned and applied
Mathematics to everything. I think it is smart to
do that. Hes known as the Father of Modern
Philosophy. One of Descartes' most enduring
legacies was his development of Cartesian or
analytic geometry, which uses algebra to
describe geometry. Descartes' work provided
the basis for the calculus developed
by Newton and Leibniz. His rule of signs is also a
commonly used method to determine the
number of positive and negative roots of a
polynomial. He also made contributions to the
field of optics by using geometric construction
and the law of refraction showing that the
angular radius of a rainbow is 42 degrees.
FAVORITE TOPIC IN
MATHEMATICS

Geometry is my favorite topic in
Mathematics because it was easy, fun
and enjoyable to learn. Ive always
wanted to be an Engineer, so I can use
this. Plus, it is not very confusing because
there is less problem solving. It also
improves your skills in Math. I think it was
fun to learn especially the theorems.
Area problems are one of the most
common uses of geometry in our
everyday lives. Let's say you need to
install new carpet in your bedroom. How
much carpet will you need to buy?
Measure your room's length and width
and then multiply them together to find
out how many square feet of carpeting is
needed. This is represented by the
formula A = L x W, or area equals length
times width. If, for example, your room is
12 feet by 10 feet, you will need 120
square feet of carpet.
