Fighting to Stay Awake Small Group

Discussion
Starting Line : Quick Recap
Last week, we talked about how the kingdom of
heaven is like the ten bridesmaids holding ten burning lamps
while they wait for the Bridegroom to come. We learned that
the ten bridesmaids represent the church, and that each
burning lamp represented the burning heart of every
Christian as we wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to return. Just as
the story goes, when the time Jesus comes to take us into His
kingdom, not everyone will have enough oil to keep their
hearts burning for od. !t is up to us now to do everything we
can to keep our lamps burning as that time is fast
approaching. We cannot a"ord to fall asleep at such crucial
times as today when the world is doing everything it can to
snu" out the #re of our lamps. We need to #ght to stay
awake and keep our hearts burning for Jesus Christ.
