TENDER CALL NOTICE FOR ORGANISATION OF TOSHALI NATIONAL CRAFTS MELA. (Janata Maidan,
Bhubaneswar) 15-27 December, 2009
No. _6290 ___/PP/OTDC Dt. _21.11.2009_/

On behalf of DOT, OTDC is going to organize a Handicraft & Handloom Expo titled “Toshali
National Craft Mela” from 15.12.2009 to 27.12.2009 in Janata Maidan, Bhubaneswar. Offers
are invited from reputed firms / agencies having experience and expertise to execute the
required work as indicated below in accordance with design, layout & specifications given in the
tender document. All work have to be executed on turnkey basis. The offer should be submitted
in two bids – “Pre-qualification Bid” with required documents and “Price Bid” in the
prescribed format. The offers should reach the office of the Managing Director, OTDC Ltd.,
Lewis Road, Bhubaneswar-751014 by 11.00 A.M. of 02.12.2009. Pre-qualification bids will be
opened first at 01.00 P.M. on the same day followed by opening of Price Bids of only those who
fulfill the Eligibility criteria and who have submitted all documents required for Pre-qualification.
The tenderers or their authorized representatives may remain present during opening of the
bids. The covers should be sealed and super-scribed in bold letters “Pre-qualification Bid” or
“Price Bid” for Toshali National Craft Mela. Details of work and the prescribed format are
given below.
The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all offers without assigning any reason
thereof & is not under any obligation to accept the lowest offer.

N. B: 1. All prices quoted shall be exclusive of taxes but inclusive of erection,


transportation & dismantling. (Dismantling and shifting the material within
24 hours after the fair is concluded.
2. The Successful bidder shall arrange for electricity supply, clearance from all
concerned departments like fire, Municipal Corporation, CESU, PHED etc.
However OTDC shall bear the energy charges & inspection fees.
3. Cultural programme will be run by Generator.
4. Taxes will be paid as per the applicable rate separately.
5. Ground after necessary arrangement must be handed over to the authority
latest by 13.12.2009 05.00 PM.
6. For Price comparison of Tender only amount column will be considered.
7. The payment will be made on the basis of actual work done at unit rate basis.
The committee constituted for the above purpose will make necessary
assessment & measurement.
