The Eighth Edition of Fire India held during 19th - 21st September 2011 at NSIC Exhibition Grounds, Okhla,

New Delhi, India witnessed the worldwide fire conglomerate come together under one roof.

The Exhibition surpassed its own benchmark wherein the Crme de la crme Exhibitors from India and
around the world displayed state of art technologies to the potential buyers from all across the globe.

THE EXHIBITION
The Exhibition was inaugurated by Smt.Sheila Dikshit, Honorable Chief Minister of Delhi. She said that Fire
India 2011 is another step forward towards combating with the fire disaster effectively & minimizing the
risk. With India's flourishing economy welcoming foreign investments in every sphere, improved and
effective fire protection technology is must required.

The Presence of Mr. Hans Jochen Bltte President of German Fire Protection Association (GFPA) along
with Mr. Hanns Helmuth Spohn, General Secretary of German Fire Protection Association (GFPA) ensured
the exploration opportunities for exchange of information in the Fire & Safety industry and exchange of
working visits of authorities and specialists in various domains of the industry.







The Exhibition was highly applauded by the industry and others. 178 exhibitors from 27 Countries
showcased their products and services at Fire India 2011 over a period of three days occupying 20,000 sqm
mtrs gross area*. These Exhibitors showcased their products and services and the latest trends and
developments in the industry with entire range of Fire Engineering Products, Latest Machinery, Fire
Fighting Appliances, New Technologies for Prevention, Detection & Fire Suppression.

International Fire India 2011 Conference organized by Institution of Fire Engineers (India) with the
Theme FIRE RIK ALLEVIATION READYING FOR EXCELLENCE The conference was inaugurated by Smt.
Sheila Dikshit, Honorable Chief Minister of Delhi.





The conference was attended by 550 delegates with 46 eminent speakers from the industry with 7
technical sessions. Once again the conference has proved its worth to be the most effective platform for
sharing the ideas for the upliftment of the industry and better means of combating with fire & serving the
mankind.



NETWORKING RECEPTION
The first day of the exhibition, networking reception party was hosted by Services International, IFE (India)
& Fire Protection Association of India (FPAI) for all the Exhibitors and other important industry dignitaries
to greet and meet in a relaxed atmosphere.
