56 g / 2 oz unsweetened chocolate, chopped fnely
235 ml / 8 f oz of strong coffee
3 tablespoons of sugar

NB: The Chocolate Cocktail Drinks Maker will not cut solid pieces so it
is important that all ingredients are liquid, or in pieces small enough
to melt. Hard fruit, ice, fudge and nuts should be avoided, however,
in many cases it is easy to fnd a substitute ingredient in the form of
syrups, favouring, sauces and purees.

wild; from frothy cappuccinos, mochas and milkshakes to hot dessert drinks with a dash of
liqueur.

You dont need to be an expert to create fantastic drinking experiences that amaze
everybody the most important ingredient in a Chocolate Cocktail is fun!
The measures provided are meant as a guide; if you want it to be more chocolaty add
more chocolate! If you want it to be more milky, add more milk and add each favouring to
suit your taste.
Depending on whether you want a divine lower fat version or creamy, indulgent treat -
use milk that is skimmed, semi-skimmed, whole milk or even single cream!
In many cases we have provided an alternative ingredient so that you can modify your
chocolate Cocktails to suit your mood
Use your favourite chocolate bar As long as it has no flling or any solid pieces such as
nuts or fudge break up the bar into smaller pieces and add to the heated milk in your
Chocolate Cocktail Drinks Maker, then blend to perfection with whatever else takes your
fancy!
A lot of the recipes can be chilled or served on ice as well!
We have added suggested toppings but you can create your topping to make it look as
great as it tastes.

Instructions for use
The following recipes are made by heating and mixing all ingredients
in a Giles & Posner Chocolate Cocktail Drinks Maker until all ingredients
are well blended. A full Chocolate Cocktail jug will make 8 small cups
or 4 mugs where a mug measures 250 ml. In the following
recipes a serving equates to 250 ml.

Hot Chocolate Cocktails
A selection of non-alcoholic, indulgent drinks
Monkey Business
500 ml / 17.6 f oz milk
140 ml / 5 f oz coconut milk
56 ml / 2 oz banana puree
100 g / 3.5 oz of dark chocolate drops (approx 6 tbsp)
Vanilla, nutmeg, and cinnamon to taste
Suggested Topping: Squirty cream and banana slices
Makes 2 servings
White Chocolate Latte
500 ml / 17.6 f oz milk
115 ml / 4 f oz cream
shot of espresso
100 g / 3.5 oz of white chocolate drops (approx 6 tbsp)
Suggested Topping: Squirty cream and cocoa powder
Makes 2 servings
Caramel Hazelnut Heaven
500 ml / 17.6 f oz milk
142 ml / 5 f oz cream
2 tbsp Nutella
Hazelnut sauce/favoring to taste
Almond sauce / almond favoring to taste
100 g / 3.5 oz of dark chocolate drops (approx 6 tbsp)
Suggested Topping: Whipped cream and faked almonds
or nut chips with drizzle of caramel syrup

Vermont Maple Chocolate Spice

28 ml / 1 oz pure maple syrup
100 g / 3.5 oz of dark chocolate drops (approx 6 tbsp)
Almond favoring to taste
Dash of nutmeg

Milkshakes
You can create an easy milkshake by adding 1 oz of favoured syrup to 8 oz of cold milk such
as chocolate, strawberry, caramel, banana or raspberry syrup and mixing together in your
Chocolate Cocktail Drinks Maker. If you want something a little more challenging, why not try
one of the following;
Apples & Cream Shake
1 cup / 236 ml / 8.3 f oz milk
1 cup / 236 ml / 8.3 f oz unsweetened applesauce
teaspoon ground cinnamon or apple pie spice
2 cups / 473 ml / 16.5 f oz vanilla ice cream
Suggested Topping: Ground cinnamon
Directions:

Once milk is warm add remaining ingredients.
Peanut Butter Cup
56 ml / 2 oz Chocolate syrup

Once milk is warm add remaining ingredients.
Chocolate Covered Cherry
56 ml / 2 oz Chocolate syrup
56 ml / 2 f oz Milk
4 scoops Cherry Ice Cream
Directions:

and allow to heat. Once milk is warm add remaining ingredients.
Caramel Latte Milkshake
