Applications
MOL Transol 220 can be beneficially applied in machines where not extreme but high load, high speed, high relative
sliding speed and normal operating temperatures are typical.
MOL Transol 220 can be used in any equipment with enclosed gears. The product is primarily recommended for spur
gears.
MOL Transol 220 offers perfect wear protection and delivers outstanding EP performance.
MOL Transol 220 can be applied in systems with circulation-, spray- and oil-fog lubrication.
When selecting the right gear oil for a given equipment, the operating temperature, speed, tooth pressure and
transmitted power must be taken into consideration. The right viscosity most be chosen according to the above
parameters and the specifications in the operating manual.

Product description
MOL Transol 220 industrial gear oil is produced from highly refined mineral base oils with a balanced additive system
containing antioxidant, extreme pressure (EP), anti-wear, corrosion and foam preventing additives.
MOL Transol 220 industrial gear oil has excellent load carrying capacity, anti-friction characteristics and yellow metal
compatibility which contribute to the reduction of gear tooth and bearing wear on both steel and bronze components.
MOL Transol 220 withstands increased operating temperatures and minimizes the formation of sludge.The formulation
provides satisfactory service life even under high loads.
MOL Transol 220 industrial gear oil is suitable for spur, helical and bevel gears and is designed to reduce wear under
conditions of high load and shock load.
MOL Transol 220 protects against corrosion and prevents the equipment from rusting even in the presence of
moisture. The product has good water separation properties so that excess water can be drained from the system.

Store in the original container in dry, properly ventilated area. Keep away from direct flame and other sources of
ignition. Protect from direct sunlight.
