Classical Guitar Strings

An innovation, the La Bella 2001 strings are the frst sets
designed with heavier gauges. Perfectly balanced on all
six strings, this set also works well on shorter scale instru-

Today, as in the electric guitar explosion of the 1960s, La
Bella continues to supply strings to many of the great pop,
rock fusion and jazz players. Depending on the electric
guitarists preference, La Bella offers a wide range of con-
structions including round wound, fat wound, stainless
steel, nickel-plated and black nylon tape wound strings.
The Electrics strings are perfectly balanced sets made
from the fnest materials.

the Flat Wound Stainless series are the frst ribbon-wire wrapped strings.
Developed in 1940 by La Bella, these strings are manufactured for all types of
electric pick-ups.
With a high magnetic content for increased electronic output, their smooth sur-
face eliminates fnger noise and string squeaks. Flat Wound Stainless sets have
a very bright sound, a smooth feel and a long playing life. They are the frst choice

through the body. This design adds a unique resonance as the strings pass through the solid wooden body and
over the bridge from underneath. With this confguration, the resulting sharp angle located at the bridge can
cause the fat wound outer wrap to crack, fray or break with standard strings. To avoid any damage to the string.
