David Keith was on he Colbert !e"ort last ni#ht, "romotin# his new
boo$. %t was interestin# in that Keith was ma$in# clear that he wants to incite
debate on o"tions, even i& they are u#ly, li$e s"rayin# sul&uric acid into the
atmos"here.
!i#ht at the end, Colbert mentioned contrails and as$ed whether this
was already ha""enin# without anyone bein# told about it. Keith considered
it unli$ely. he whole bit too$ maybe ten seconds. 'aturally, Colbert had the
better on him, he always does, since he is ama(in# at interviews. here was
no debate, Keith didn't #et to e)"lain the visual di*erence between contrails
and sul&uric acid, nor the di*erence in hei#ht o& a""lication. he word
+chemtrails+ wasn't mentioned, but Colbert obviously "ic$ed u" on "o"ular
culture and cons"iracy and he #ot a #ood lau#h out o& it. Seein# how Colbert
is basically "layin# a role, and he's not really choosy with what he throws at

would be done by ma@or countries but the "roblem is how countries a#ree
about where to set the thermostat. :ho decides. 7nd my bi##est reason &or
