How it works
END-TO-END SCHOOL & CAMPUS SAFETY
NowForce SchoolSafety is a mobile command and control system for routine security management as well
as for crisis and emergency situations. NowForce provides continuous situational awareness of all active
incidents, tracking responders availability and whereabouts, and safeguarding students and personnel in
times of distress.
Comprised of several modules, the intuitive, web-based NowForce Dispatcher serves as the solutions
central nervous system, able to receive alerts and distress calls from individual users with the NowForce
Mobile Reporter app on their cell phones, as well as from NextGen9-1-1, social medial and other SMS/
SOS apps. Incidents are relayed to frst responders via the NowForce Mobile Responder app on their
cell phones. As alerts and situation reports come in from administrators, teachers, students, security
personnel and other school personnel, NowForce helps to turn the information into actionable tasks for
frst responders and dispatchers so that they can act faster to ensure the safety, security and well-being
of the entire campus.
When an event occurs that requires immediate attention, a new incident is created, triggered via the mobile
device of any school personnel, security guard, student or parent, or manually via the NowForce Dispatcher.

A voice channel with the designated call center may be opened, allowing for continued contact with the user
in distress. Depending on the situation, the person reporting the incident may do so in silent mode. Images of
the scene and other critical information may be uploaded to the schools dedicated command center.
The location of the incident is automatically pinpointed, and the smart dispatching engine locates all
nearby available responders who have the skill and training to respond.
The system dispatches all necessary responders to the incident, and provides them with all mission-critical
information.
5. Continuous digital communication between responders and the web
based Dispatcher ensures location updates, navigational support,
in-feld updates (feeds received from all dispatched responders or
other sources) and status notifcations.
6. Post-incident reports are completed by responders using their
mobile devices and sent back to the schools administrators and
security personnel for review and analysis
7. Performance indicators are analyzed and established for
operational evaluation and quality improvement/assurance.
