The Certicate in Corporate Finance is an important step which develops the essential basic
knowledge required for working in corporate nance. The Certicate meets the FCAs mandatory exam
requirements for those advising on investments in the course of corporate nance business. The syllabus
explores corporate nance transactions, legislation, regulation and techniques and provides you with an
understanding of how corporate nance transactions are developed to meet client needs..

BPP PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
The Certicate in Corporate Finance has no formal entry requirements.
The Diploma in Corporate Finance is designed to build on the knowledge gained through
theCerticate in Corporate Finance. The Certicate is therefore the normal prerequisite for the
Diploma in Corporate Finance.
Holders of many professional accountancy qualications are exempt. For a full list of
exemptions please visit the CISI website.
The Corporate Finance Qualication represents the highest level of achievement in the
corporate nance programmes jointly ofered by the CISI and ICAEW. To achieve the CF
Qualication you must meet the following criteria:
Successful completion of the Diploma in Corporate Finance
Be currently working in corporate nance
Be able to demonstrate a minimum of three years corporate nance transactions
Provide conrmation of professional good standing
Once you have successfully completed the Diploma in Corporate Finance (new syllabus) and
acquired at least three years corporate nance work experience, you will be awarded the CF
designation.

All CISI CF Certicate exams are
multiple choice question exams,
assessed by computer based
assessment. The two elements of the
Certicate in CF are one hour exams.
All CISI examinations are available on
a daily basis.
Both of the Diploma in Corporate
Finance examinations are open
book examinations, Paper 1:
Corporate Finance Techniques
& Theoryexamination is
athreehour examination and
both the information booklet and
the examination paper are given
