RAHASYA is a Hindi feature film made in India, directed
by writer-director Manish Gupta, starring Kay Kay Menon,
Tisca Chopra, Ashish Vidyarthi, Mita Vashisht and Ashwini
Kalsekar.
The films story centres around a couple whose only child, a
teenaged girl, has been murdered in her sleep inside their
large duplex apartment. The initial Police investigations point
at the murdered girls father (played by Ashish Vidyarthi) to
be the prime accused for the murder. But as the case is
taken over by the Central Bureau of Investigation (C.B.I.),
further evidence springs up and leaves everyone baffled as
to who the actual killer is? The questions that the film
attempts to resolve about this brutal murder are who did
it? Why and how? The films story has been presented as a
murder mystery and is slated to hit theatres in 2014.
RAHASYA is Manish Guptas fourth film as a director. He
has earlier directed - Darna Zaroori Hai (2006), The Stoneman Murders (2009) and Hostel (2011 film). Manish
has also scripted many films including the hugely successful Sarkar (2O05) Rahasya has been produced by Mrs.
Monica Vimal Maluka of UVI Film Productions Pvt. Ltd. who has earlier co-produced Zila Ghaziabad.
The technical crew includes stalwarts like Ranjit Barot (Music), Suresh Pai (Editing), Faroukh Mistry
(Cinematography), Abbas Ali Moghul (Stunts) and Alok De (Mixing).
