Metal Part 4
In this issue we continue in 1983, Metallica, Dio, V8 and more.
Dio, after his departure from Black Sabbath would begin his
solo career alongside another former Sabbath, Vinnie Appice, and
on May 25, 1983 launch his first job is
a classic: "Holy Diver" that the following year would reach
be Disco Gold and Platinum 1989.

Apocrypha-Covres-Anthology 1995-2011 (2011)
The band Crdoba edit this work rejuntando test demos
and live, performing classic ANIMAL, Almafuerte, Hermetic,
Metallica, Pantera, among others. Note that the sound is not
best, there are some in recent years where there is already an improvement
but it is worth listening to, since they show the bands
more appreciated.

Incarus Music
Ahola Bertoncelli Christian band celebrates 10 years of existence,
where also present tracks from his latest work, plus some
lsicos them and the song "Elena X" Riff. This album is achieved
in three editions: one comes with two CDs and a DVD. Hopefully
the band continue to show what he can do for several years, and
stands that have not taken any bad work, so there

Roadrunners

We must do something to bring Derrick Green singing badly and
Cavalera again to be like old times. Also
Andreas Kisser or handled in the composition, Cavalera was the

RHAPSODY OF FIRE-From the chaos to eternity
Nuclear Blast
If you have to highlight one of the best CD that came out this year, this
is one of them. Rhapsody Italians continue their stories
which began in 1997, where each disk represents a chapter.
"From the chaos to eternity" starts with a great intro to
Christopher Lee as narrator, something that has been done since
long, and even consider it one of the gang. With
Speed is a sound more songs like the one that takes the
album name, "Tempesta di fuoco", "Aeons of raging darkness", one of the more me than me
liked, "Tornado" and "Heroes of the waterfalls'kingdom" a little m's nineteen minutes
duration. Also, this is the last with guitarist Luca Turilli and cofounder.
SYMFONIA-In Paradisium
Edel
Timo Tolkki after he left Stratovarius in very bad terms,
wanted to Stratovarius II with former members of that band, but
formed R evolution Renaissance, which is read as much like
Stratovarius. And now in 2011 so Symfonia with former singer
Angra: Andr Mattos, and the truth that also looks like Stratovarius,
and not only that, it also has riffs of his former band. Their lyrics
are very good, but I think they could be doing more to highlight
otherwise. They start with "Fields of Avalon" and I thought after the "Glory of the World"

Thrash Metal

For this edition of "Pogo and Stamina" I chose to do a special Thrash, gender of
I like Metal, which speaks of destruction, nuclear crisis and corrupt politicians
among other things. I hope you like it too bands which I have
marked in my life and I identify with.
In 1988 guitarist Osvaldo Civile case Pitchforks with Adrian
Zucchi on second guitar, Eddie Walker on bass, Gabriel Ganzo in
battery and Hugo Benitez in his voice. The band starts to become a
name and in 1990 gives birth to her first album "reign Tempest" (and
as a quartet, with the side away from Zucchi). In 1991 Oscar Castro,
Lethal ex, joins Forks on second guitar and Norberto "Topo"
Yaez does the same replacing Eddie Walker on bass. With this
formation the band recorded their second album "Hear the Cry Mortal
Snagrado "in 1992. Internal management problems and cause an
recording silence for nearly five years. With several lineup changes, we add Coria in
guitar and Guillermo De Luca on drums. In 199, with this line, which is added Christian
Bertoncelli (later Empire) in voice, Forks integrates the grid of the first "Metal Rock Festival", an event
itinerant travels through the country and empties into the stadium with the presentation of works by Forks
Logos and Rata Blanca in a tribute show to V8. In 1997 a new stage opens with Forks
edition of its new board "Vence", which features a new singer: Walter Meza (ex JERIKO). Between
late 1998 and early 1999, he joined Horcas studies to record "Eternals" his fourth plate, which
would be the last before the death of Osvaldo Civile. Gabriel Lis joined as new guitarist for
a national tour and neighboring countries that lasted until 2000. In 2002 they released their fifth plate
self-titled "Forks" and in 2003 recorded his first album Gallows live Hangar of Buenos Aires, the
plate called "Live". Then came "Wacky", "Murderer", "Reviving hosts" and
second live album "The Curse Continues".
Exodus is an American band formed in 1980 in the Bay of
San Francisco, California, founded by guitarist Gary Holt, Kirk
Hammett (Metallica current guitarist) and drummer Tom
Hunting.
Exodus is one of the first thrash metal bands covering
30-year career, has gone through numerous changes
training, two extended hiatuses and has seen the deaths of two
members of the previous band. With nine studio albums, two
study and two compilations, Exodus has released a total of thirteen
. years since its debut in 1985 His most recent album is "Exhibit B:
The Human Condition ", which came out in 2010." Tempo of the Damned "is the album that contains a song
which is attributed to the founder of the band Kirk Hammet, which is the song "Impaler". One of the riffs
"Impaler" was used in the Metallica song "Trapped under Ice" in 1984.
Mastodon: Its formation dates back to 1995 and since its beginnings
approached the musical style that indelibly mark: the Heavy-
Thrash. In mid-August 1997 he had a change of guitarist.
Diego Conte would enter, which he would be training with the
Barreto brothers: Hugo (guitar and vocals), Andrew (bass) and Reuben

In mid-2006 Jorge Moreno (Serpentor) invites Hugo
Benitez (ex Forks) to participate in a cover of V8 "Captives of
System "to throw in his new CD" Final Snagriento ". From
there is born a friendship and a project that is specified when
Diego Nuez called drummer, guitarist Jorge Hoyos
(Both Exthremony) and bassist "Chicho" Villagra, as
after some tests it was decided to form Shrapnel late
2006. Would publish in 2007 his first album called "Fire in the
Minds ". In 2008 bassist dies "Chicho" Villagra, which po
decide to continue with a new member. For 2010 would publish
their second album "Satan cassocks"
Caym: Band formed in mid 2009 by four
members of Grand Bourg: Nicholas Salvucci (guitar), Ema
Benitez (bass), Cristian Bussu (drums) and Bussu Gaston (voice), who
left the band later that same year, remaining as voice
main Salvucci and Benitez in the chorus. That's when they start
to rumba artist to the Thrash Metal and Gaston is incorporated
Adaime (guitar) in February 2010. That year the band begins to
make their first concerts and composing his own songs. A
Adaime late 2010 decided to leave the band and leaving the current
formation, which recorded its first demo in early 2011.
Overkill was the first group appeared in the Thrash Metal scene.
Originally formed in New Jersey by D. D. Verni and Rat Skates,
although under the name The Lubricunts. To move forward with the project,
D. D. Verni put an ad in the local paper looking for vocalist
announcement that a certain Bobby Ellsworth replied that at that time
also played bass. Bobby was hired and he appeared the first
guitarist of the band from the previous group of Bobby during
some time the band was stumbling, like its name, which
changed several times to settle as Overkill .. Back in 1981, the
band began writing their own songs, after versioning
songs like "Overkill" Motrhead or "Tyrant" by Judas Priest.
Among those songs "Unleash the beast whitin" stands out, one of the first thrash metal songs
history, preceding "Hit the Lights" Metallica just a few months. The band until today
edited more than 15 carries and two live albums.
Grave was formed in 1983 in Belo Horizonte by hermanosIgor (drums) and Max (guitar, vocals)
Cavalera, Paulo Pinto Jr bassist and guitarist Jairo T. In 1985 he got his first job posting
"Bestial Devastation" which, despite its technical shortcomings, has evolved over the years into a disk
worship. Following the departure of Jairus T, which was replaced by guitarist Andreas Kisser, produced the album
"Schizophrenia" (1987). Later signed with a
international company, Roadrunners, and published a
series of million-selling albums that obtained between
them, "Beneath the Remains" (1989), "Arise" (1991)
"Chaos AD" (1993), "Roots" (1996), and then come
some not so good with singer Derrick Green.
In late 1998,
Indian Blood is dissolved and three of its members, Guillarmo Romero
voice, Jorge Moreno and Jorge Alcaraz on guitars, beginning in
Rafael Castillo select bassist and drummer to form a
Thrash Metal band. Pablo Lescano and Sergio Gmez are
elected. The name: Serpentor. In '99 they recorded a demo and the
2001su first album called "Serpentor". Then record "Possessed"
"Final Blood", "Wicked Act" and "unlawful deprivation of
Freedom "
Testament was formed in San Francisco, USA in 1982 by guitarist Eric Peterson and his cousin, also
guitarist, Derrick Ramirez, but with the initial name of Legacy.
They were then joined by bassist Greg Christian, drummer Mike
Ronchette and singer Steve Souza. Co these changes Ramirez was
also replaced by young guitarist Alex Skolnick, who had
studied with legendary guitarist Joe Satriani the Bay Area. Was
and he produced his first demo in 1986 with four songs.
After recording the drummer left the band and was
replaced by Luie Clemente. The band sought to draw attention
some record company, but received a severe blow when
