Abstract
MANET is a self-configuring network of mobile devices connected by wireless links. A MANET is an autonomous collection of mobile users that communicate over relatively bandwidth constrained wireless links. Each device in a MANET is free to move independently in any direction. MANET is useful in many application environments and do not need any infrastructure. QoS is needed in MANETs because different applications have different service requirements. Due to node mobility route breaks are more frequent in MANETs.
