Local Authorities (Members Allowances) (England) Regulations 2003
An Independent Remuneration Panel has produced a
report setting out some changes to the Council Members
Allowances Scheme. Full Council on 5 June 2014 resolved
that Basic and Special Responsibility allowances are to be
increased by a percentage equivalent to the local government
national pay increase which may be received by the Councils
staff and that allowances payable to the Chairman and
Vice-Chairman of the Councils Audit and Standards Committee be
increased from 3030 & 606 to 3900 & 780 respectively.
All other elements of the scheme remain unaltered.
