Classroom
I had the opportunity to assist
with diferent types of technology
during my Introduction to Professional
Education course at adonna
!ni"ersity# Some of the technology
that I assisted with included a T$%
"ideo camera% and computers# These
e&periences allowed me to understand
how to use technologies to guide
learners to apply information in
appropriate% safe% and efecti"e ways#
I was a'le to enhance student
learning 'y using all these diferent
types of technology 'ecause it
pro"ided the students in the classroom
with diferent ways to learn# I used a
"ideo camera to record a reader(s
theatre s)it that the students
performed# *ater% I played it on the
tele"ision that was in the classroom# I
used the tele"ision for "ideos that my
cooperating teacher had pic)ed out for
the students to watch to further
enhance their learning a'out certain
topics that they were learning a'out as
well# I also super"ised students while
they were loo)ing up facts a'out
animals they were writing a'out on
computer#
Refection
This was an ama+ing
e&perience for me 'ecause it ga"e
me the opportunity to pro"ide
students with diferent ways a
learning other than sitting in their
seats% listening to their teacher#
,hen the students found out that
they were going to 'e doing a
reader(s theatre s)it% they were
ecstatic a'out it# The students
learned how to wor) together and it
helped with their reading s)ills#
Also% when the students were gi"en
an opportunity to use computers to
loo) up facts a'out their animal%
they were e&cited a'out it and could
not wait to write their paragraphs -
they were so proud of their wor)
that they had done#
,hen I use diferent types of
technology in the future% I will use it as
