Naradha: NarayanaNarayana(sarcastically smiling). Shambo Mahadeva!

Shiva: Welcome Naradha!
Parvathi: It is nice to see you Naradha!

Parvathi: Why is Naradha, the embodiment of confusions here?(Slightly shocked)We are soon going to
have some trouble(sarcastically smiling).
Shiva: All of Naradhas controversies end in a positive note. Lets see what happens this time.
Naradha: Oh my lord Shiva! The savior of the universe! And mother Parvathi thank you for your warm
welcome; Its my pleasure to see the divine couple together.

Shiva: Now tell us the truth Naradha, I can see some mischief brewing in your mind
Naradha: My lord you have insulted me now (smiles to the audience) I actually brought you a gift!
Shiva: A gift? For me? What is it Naradha?(baffled)
Naradha: A mango
Parvathi: A mango?(Amused) You have come all this way to give us a mango?
Naradha: My lord! This is no ordinary mango(seriously speaking), its taste is said to be sweeter than the
taste of nectar. It is the fruit of knowledge my lord!
Shiva: The fruit of knowledge which tastes sweeter than nectar, thats great! Parvathi would you like to
have a bite?
Naradha: No my lord!(firmly speaking)
Shiva: What, you want me to have it without letting Parvathi have it?(angrily asking)
Naradha: I am extremely sorry my lord(clears his throat) ; since this fruit is blessed by the sages and
devas, It is supposed to be eaten by one person as a whole fruit.
Shiva: If that is the case, let my better half have it.
Parvathi: No my lord, How can I have it for myself leaving you all? .(Thinking for a second) Instead, let
one of our children have it.
Naradha: But you have two children; how is this possible??(asking mockingly)

Muruga: Welcome uncle Naradha!
Ganesha: Welcome uncle Naradha!
Muruga: Dear mother, what is that lovely in your hands?(amused)
Ganesha: Wow! It looks delicious!(excited)
Naradha: Now that my boys, is the fruit of knowledge. I offered it to your parents, but they thought it
would be best if either one of you have it.
Muruga: The fruit of knowledge! Mother, can I please have it?(asking politely)
Ganesha: No! I love mangoes and I am the eldest son so I am the right one to have it!(demanding)
Muruga: No brother the mango is mine, not yours.
Parvathi: Sons, please dont fight
(Naradha tries to escape from the sight of the divine couple)
Shiva: There you are Naradha! I knew why you came to Kailash, I knew it(angrily). Now you have created
a problem, you decide to whom the mango should be given.(demanding)
Naradha: Ah... my plan is working!(talks to himself)
Shiva: Naradha! Dont try to escape, come here!

Naradha: Stop fighting my boys! Mmm(thinks)let us have a competition.
Muruga: A competition(excited)! Thats great! Im sure that my brother wouldnt accept(confidently
speaking).
Ganesha: I would too and Im sure to win, stop dreaming brother Muruga(desperate)!
Naradha: Mmm(thinks) The competition is that the one who goes around the world thrice and reaches
the aboard of Kailash first gets the fruit.
Muruga: Ah, such a simple task! I would easily do it with my vehicle peacock. And you brother are slow
and fat and with your vehicle the mouse?(laughs to himself) I dont think you stand a chance, and off I
go.
(Muruga runs away from the scene)
Ganesha: Oh no, I cannot hope to compete against my brothers peacocks speed, what am I to
do??...(worried)
(Ganesha, hopelessly, circles his parents)
Parvathi: Ganesha, Why are you coming around us? You are supposed to be going around the world,
hurry up!(concerned)
Shiva: And your brother Muruga has already left.

Ganesha: Going around the world... going around my parents... I got it!
(Something flashes in Ganeshas mind)
Ganesha: Father, dont we believe that the parents represent the whole world to their children?
Shiva: Yes, the parents represent the whole world to their children.
Ganesha: Thank you father.
(Ganesha starts circling his parents)-
(Song)
Ganesha: One..two..and three.. and the mango is mine!
Parvathi: Ganesha! What are you doing?
Ganesha: Just as father said, the parents represent the whole world to their children. I have gone
around my world by going around you.
Naradha: Great thinking Ganesha!
Parvathi: You are wise Ganesha!
Shiva: I am pleased with you answer and your sharp intelligence Ganesha!
Ganesha: Thank you father, thank you mother.

Muruga: Ah! I finally completed my task(proud). Now mother, can you please give me my mango?
Ganesha: Haha!!.I have already won it brother Muruga!(laughing)
Muruga: My dear parents, how is this possible?(shocked)
Ganesha: Relax brother, I have proved my intelligence.(smartly)
Muruga: No! This is unfair. I followed all the rules religiously, and is this how I get repaid?(angrily)
Shiva: Calm down my son.

Grandma: Well, well, what is bothering you all dears?(softly)
Naradha: Ill explain you everything, oh wise Ovai. I had brought a fruit of knowledge as a gift for the
divine couple.(feeling good)
Shiva: But we thought that, it would be better if either of our sons had it.
Parvathi: But as both of our sons wanted it, Naradha set a task.(worried)
Naradha: The task was simple the one who goes around the world thrice and reaches this place first
gets the fruit
Muruga: I was complaint! I followed all the rules and completed my task!(annoyed)
Ganesha: I used my creativity and went around my parents who represent my world.(smartly)
Grandma: Well, to sum up the story, I can understand how Ganesha was able to think differently and
accomplished his task.
Muruga: You too grandma?(shocked)
Grandma: No my son, on the other hand your approach too was also not wrong, your compliance had
made you stand up and you to have perfectly accomplished your task. And so, with my divine powers Ill
create another fruit of knowledge for you as well.(pacifies Muruga)
Muruga: Dont cheat me again grandma.
Grandma: No my son, you both deserve the best.
(Ovai creates another fruit of knowledge and hands it over to Muruga)
Muruga: Thank you Grandma
Ganesha: Thank you grandma.
